Here was my path to Stanford for graduate school (M.A. + acceptance at Brown University - no safety schools); later in life, M.S. IT & Telecommunication Systems, Johns Hopkins University.
    High School -
    1. Get stoned a lot.
    2. Skip school a lot.
    3. Shack up with girlfriend (1 year).
    4. Grow hair to shoulder length.
    5. Ride dirt bikes.
    6. Graduate in bottom quarter of class.
    College (state university):
    1. Get excited about learning.
    2. Take the most rigorous courses.
    3. Write down every word you encounter in your college reading and remember the definitions.
    4. Graduate with honors in 3 years.
    5. Garner knock out letters of recommendation from faculty members.
    6. Score 90th percentile or better on the GRE.
    7. Know that for all your accomplishments you are still stepping up to a roulette wheel.

Unfortunately my high school has many policies in place to prevent freshman and sophomores from taking AP classes and even juniors and seniors are limited to 5 at most (even that is very difficult with all the school policies). It will allow you to take advanced courses as a freshman and allow you to graduate in three years (saving a lot of tuition fees) or you can stay for another year and get a master's after four. my mind is blown with the fact that theres 9th graders taking precalc, in puertorico we take algebra 2 or geometry in 9th grade, and I myself was in what I would call a shitty school since I took Algebra 1 in 9th, im now in 11th in a school specialized in math and science where i would have been taking trigonometry now but since i need geometry to graduate im taking math classes with 10th graders. I alr learned all of geometry by my self at home with khan academy and am planning to do the same with every other math class, hopefully getting to Calculus classes soon, in 12th grade ill be taking trigonometry, pre calc and statistics but i hope i alr know everything that will be taught beforehand

on an unrelated note, how much prep time did u have for ISEF? at my school we only have a month to do all the research and find what we want to do for the science fair but it seems like theyre having us do 2 science fair projects, one in investigation and another in engineering. We have till October 30th to hand in all the papers related to what we are going to do, mentors and any legal approval for our testings. Winner in the school competes national and from there the best go to ISEF 2024

    • 2.5 years independent psychiatry + psychology research at home
    • Fundraised $20,000 by selling pens in front of stores

I’m being serious about this question and don’t mean to boast towards anyone if interpreted that way. I am also not asking for validation. Or better yet who came up with all these? U must be smart but THIS SMART! N irony is none of the information you provide can help anybody. These poor teenagers are clueless. Hi there, Rishan Jain. I hope you're doing good.
My question to you is, you said you wanted to be a medical student (i think you already are), and yet you're so good at maths and physics. You literally created an algorithm to help fight pancreatic cancer, that's very genius.
I'm a student whose not very good at physics and maths, but I love it. I don't want to part away from it after 12th grade, which is why I'm confused as to which career I should opt.
Unfortunately in my country, there's a lot of competition and majority of the people opting for maths and physics go for a highly competitive entrance exam (which by the way you may have already guessed and you know how difficult it is).
I however do not wish to do any of that. I do want to receive good education in maths, physics, coding. But I'm not interested into the IT sector, i want to work individually.
So, my question is, I see how innovative you are despite not being an engineer and stuff, you're so Good at innovations and you wanna be a doctor? I assume.
So are you studying biotechnology at Harvard or basically what are you studying?
And what would you advice me in this?

Your resume is unbelievable is all I can say. Just go line by line and explain to every highschooler you are marketing these videos with honestly. How in the world you came up with all these? Or better yet who came up with all these? U must be smart but THIS SMART! N irony is none of the information you provide can help anybody. These poor teenagers are clueless. Most highschools have no capability or time to help the students or owners students have to watch videos like yours to start research. 😮

My son’s stats is better than yours. However, he did not get into any of HSM, private universities are focused only on Hooks, and very biased on race and other DEI issues. Students should remember that stats do not get a student admitted to colleges like Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. And 'bragging' about stats can be a reason to get rejected. This is a youtube video, so Rishab is playing the youtube game. But if a student had an interview with an admissions counselor and appeared to be bragging, things might end poorly.
