It was a mirror. He's a talented musician/actor/singer. He used all of those talents to get the world to look into that mirror. We all saw ourselves in this song/performance. We all saw our own battle. Ren probably didn't intend for it to be but that's what it is.
Ren is a once in a generation, maybe once in a lifetime artist. I feel damn lucky to be alive right now to experience his music.

I loved how you were physically shocked by the "loosen the noose "line ..not that many reactors flinch at that line ..I think they are just bedazzled by Ren's brilliance so I overlook it.but I get happy when I see reactors get punched in the face by that line coz its a hard hitting line .

He plays classical, raps with the elites, outright sings, and the performance art. He's very special.
