Since your audience is to big parts german a little series "life in american college" would be really cool and interesting i guess. Showing a little bit how college life is and how college works.. Anyways, i hope you make more videos again.

So glad to see you again! I've missed your videos, but certainly agree that your college studies come first!!! Just one thing... You have the whole rest of your life to be all grown up (with a job, spouse, kids, etc.); this is a fleeting time period where you don't have such responsibilities! Go home to Germany and see your family as much as you can -- I bet they miss you terribly!
since most of your viewers are germans, how about explaining what college live means? what classes to you take, is it really such a party as all the movies suggest? do you have ideas on how to improve german-american friendship at your college etc. pp.

In America our colleges have a core subject system where you take math, science, english, a foreign language etc. classes in addition to the courses that pertain to your major which you choose as early as freshman year or as late as your junior year. About it being a party well that would have to do with the specific school and the time in question. For example there may be plenty of parties during the year however times like finals may be a bit more somber. Again that may also depend on the school and how often one partakes in the party life. I personally believe that since we end up paying so much money for college (from 25,000 at the low end to over 70,000 at the high end) people feel a need to get everything they can out of that time. Hope that answers your questions!

Thank you for letting us know what has been going on with you! A month ago today I got back from a dream trip to Germany - where I spent four days in Stuttgart as part of it. Your videos were such a help in just figuring out what was going on and what to do. Best of luck in school!

You should totally start doing a "Life in America" now, as most of us are presumably German and I can only speak for myself but I would love to find out more about your American life! I'm so glad you didn't disappear completely from TH-cam! I went to Deutschland for the first time last summer visiting a friend and I'm learning the German language. I plan to go again because there is so much to see in Germany it's fascinating. Can't wait to see more videos even if it's not taken place in Germany. :)

I was waiting for this one youtuber, that I really liked, to finally make another video. A year later I was really angry at him and checked comments under his videos. "He had an accident and died" - Felt really bad for not knowing for so long :(

I started watching your channel when we decided to visit Germany. While the Germany info was great, I ended up finding you extremely entertaining no matter what you presented. So I do hope more videos will be coming sooner rather than later. But thanks for letting me know about the Germany videos that are now available. We leave for Munich in two weeks!

I was looking into visiting Munich which is how I found your channel. I am loving exchange over in Ljubljana, Slovenia and will be heading back to Nebraska in a few months. It's funny for me to meet folks from around the states where I have not been. I am more of a West Coast/Midwest girl. So never been far East. Hoping to in the next year or so once home. I am sure that NE seems like the middle of nowhere. It sort of is, haha but very nice and we do have an amazing zoo: "world's best". Thanks for sharing info on your experiences!

I've missed you. when I was in university in Germany there was something called I think a "language partner/buddy" where people could meet native speakers from different nationalities to improve their language skills. Is there something like that at your college and if so, would you ever consider it to keep your German skills?

I'm glad you're alive and reported back again :3 To be perfectly honest, after so many month without any sign of life, I toyed with the idea of unsubscribing the channel because I thought there wouldn't be any real update anymore. Back then, you somewhere mentioned those episodes you already completed, and since they were not uploaded, I assumed you lost any interest in doing this kind of stuff. Now I am happy I waited a little longer :-)
I, too, would be interested in new videos about the US, cultural differences and your shenanigans over there :D

Hey Sam: at some point you promised a “reverse culture shock” video and I know it’s been a while but this would be so cool. I sent you a private msg. ages ago that I am a temporarily retired college professor (medical reasons, no fun research trips if surfing in Australia is cooler than surfing in Hawai’i) but once (or if)I return to teach I fully intend to use show a bunch of your videos in my political culture class, my Model UN class (which because I am teaching at a small NJ “elite” college) is full of people who might have travelled but never really realized that actually interacting with 1,400 people from a few dozen countries is a little different than Grayline’s “see 8 European countries in 5 days”. Back to my request though, I never had reverse culture shock because other than for vacations I never returned to Stuttgart where I also lived but I heard from a lot of people that the reverse culture shock was massively worse than the culture shock when they arrived, all from the Greater Stuttgart area in Storrs, CT Home of the UConn Huskies and not the home of a decent supermarket for 25 miles…
