You need a lin converter/module for ca.150$

you need to put the wire trou the airbag horn frame because it will make an scrast sound when driving after an wille
Rather than doing the connector on airbag swap I'd recommend repinning the connector that plugs into the clock spring much simpler imo

Danke für das Video, ich habe meinen T5 von 2009 mit einem T6 Lenkrad ausgestattet, wie im Video nur leider habe ich einen Airbagfehler. Scheinbar sind die Widerstände nicht die gleichen.

Not the best idea to freely rotate the steering angle sensor, might get af code and even break it when turning the steeringwheel all the way to one site if it get too much of center

@@MayaJulie.official the system is the same as in a MK4 Golf and that can get enough out of turn so it can break

Warning airbag light you must to reset with some obd2 tools
Why oh why would anyone go through all this trouble and not get a nicely wrapped steering wheel preferably perforated leather, I mean eBay ships globally IIRC..

Trzeba poprzepinac piny lub przełożyć kostkę, wszystko zależy od tego jakiego modelu użyjesz kierownicę

5:40 three cables are from the horn,did you connect them the same?
@@CheckEnginePlusMinus all I had was one connector that I took straight from my polo air bag and it plugged straight into my transporter and then transporter wheel and airbag fitting directly into my polo.
Would I have to keep the original wiring looms on both vehicles? As it was a straight plug in I assumed it would all work 😬

Czy do t5 2011 można zamontować kierownice od golfa gtd 7, jeśli tak to co z elektroniką muszę ją też od golfa 7 założyć czy wystarczy od t5 kierownica jest jak w golfie 6. Pozdrawiam
Bez problemu mozna przelozyc z mk7 ale bedziesz potrzebowal CAN/lin bus adapter i poprzepinac pare pinow w wiazce..Wszystko jest mozliwe tylko wiadomo kwestia kasy😉👍

@Kuba Imburski Tak mozesz to ogarnac samemu troszke zabawy ale do zrobienia :-) ,koszt modulu ca.1000zl . Kierownica ca 200zl / airbag ca.500zl . Teraz pytanie czy bedziesz chcial zrobic sterowanie tempomatem z kierownicy czy nie ;-) wtedy dochodzi troszke kabla,pinow i zmiana manetki👍
