Japan is probably the only country where you could eat solely convenience store food, and still eat like a king ! The goods are reasonably priced, and they have a wide range of food and other products. I'm serious about this, the Japanese convenience store is truly one of the wonders of the modern world ! This video brought a tear to my eye, I used to live in Japan and I really miss convenience stores.
I have a problem.... Every single time I am hungry, I end up watching food related videos.... I wish 7-Eleven is like that in my country.... It will really help me to survive my university years.
As Japanese move to America. There are pros and cons. Yes Japanese 7-11 is 15000 times better than American 7-11 without question. But at the same time, Japanese working environment is way worse than America. And it's connected to why Japanese 7-11 is really great. It's happened not some magics or something, Japanese people really sacrifice their lives for their jobs/works, that's why.
A note from someone who lives in Japan: This is a bigger 7/11. There are smaller ones too. However, there are lots of Japanese convenient stores that are just like this 7/11 and there’s, like, one on every block in the more urban areas (especially around Tokyo). In Japan, convenient stores are actually convenient.
You can see Delana's progression throughout the day, she is not a morning person but she is definitely a night owl! LOL too funny to be able to see this change.
Australia 7 Eleven: - Meat pies that taste like cardboard - $6.00 Mars Bars - Expensive ass petrol - Only two bananas in a basket (healthy option) Japanese 7 Eleven - 5 department stores combined into a mini mart.
Haha they even have 7.8 or 7.3 sometimes. I mean what the heck what is the purpose of the .8 just say it 8 or 7 out of 10 adding the decimal point in their scoring is acting like they are a professional food reviewer even though they are just like everyone of us who just wants to eat tasty foods.
Why are the 711s in the US such trash? It’s basically snack foods and that’s it. Meanwhile the ones in japan have decent looking meals. Also, $5 for a bag of chips in Australia? Wtf???
@@monke3898 yea, live in Japan and then realize how hard living in Japan is, not to mention a lot of Japanese treat foreigners poorly and refused to served saying, they only served Japanese only. It’s funny to see how everyone sees Japan as a paradise all because of food when they don’t know what’s their society is like...
*I'm from North America and this was uploaded at 3 a.m. in the morning and I honestly do not care because it's stop, drop, and watch every time he uploads!*
I work at a smaller 7-11 in Osaka and we literally have the same customers come in before work/school, during their lunch break and on their way home... there's more than enough types of food to not get bored for a very long time if ever! The people in the neighbourhood also tend to do a lot of grocery shopping with us XD
Chicken cutlet and strawberry and cream are one of my favorite fast sandwiches. As an additional desert it’s always red bean ice cream mochi. Takes great with peach oolong tea.

I'm living in a rural area in Japan. Three nearest convenience stores are 15-20 mins away on foot and I've always complained about how inconvenient my life is. Reading the comments here just made me appreciate things. Thank you.
It should go without saying, but people in Australia and the UK (and maybe NZ too?) call suckers and hard candies "lollies". So...that was kind of a dumb comment.
This is honestly one of the main reasons why I go to Japan almost every year now. I absolutely love 7-Eleven and Family Mart in Japan. Going next year in January for the my 5th trip
I totally thought you guys were gonna eat the pizza man buns for breakfast! I think you would have loved it if you’ve never had it before 😊 loving all these vlogs
i've spent a lot of time in japan and i never seemed to run out of new icecreams, chocolates, chips , lollies, drinks and cakes to try lol, if i wasnt spending all day riding, walking around while i was there i would have have become a mega blimp :)
Having lived in Japan for years, and 7-11 being the nearest stop to my home, I have gone weeks at a time getting all of my meals from there. They have a great variety of ready-to-eat meals, and they have fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, and other ingredients for making meals. They even have the ingredients to bake cakes or cookies. Not only can I buy food at 7-11, I pay my bills there, buy concert and Disney tickets, send and receive packages, and some stores even have dry cleaning drop off and pickup. In Akasaka, 7 and I Holdings (the company which owns 7-11) has a 7-11 apartment building, which of course has a 7-11 on the first floor.

Hats off to Japan’s convenient store food manufacturers. They’re the ones who make the difference, not just 711, but other convenient stores’ foods are good too in Japan.
Minimum wage in Australia is $18.93, so why do I always see comments from Australians saying everything here is so expensive. Well I wonder why that is, in USA Florida it’s 8.25
Daniel Toledano Only uneducated Aussies who don't have a proper job complain about everything being expensive. Most people can't grasp the concept of pricing being relative to household discretionary income and buying power.
Minimum wage for me when I worked retail in Melbourne was just under $16 per hr (while I was under 18), but to go out and get a "cheap" meal is around $15-20. And houses around my area are usually $1.7 Mil(suburbs), so in retrospect to everything else. It's not super expensive, but it's not cheap either. Food isn't that expensive, but house prices are notoriously known for being ridiculous.

juandenz2008 and you can actually not feel terrible about yourself since it isn’t as unhealthy as most cheap places are
You can in Korea and Taiwan as well.
South Korea is the same
you can do that in most asian countries, vietnam, malaysia, thailand, taiwan, china, korea all have decent selections
juandenz2008 not the only one. USA as such crappy country for food that anything is literately better

Japan's 7-Eleven is basically a combination of a supermarket, a gas station, a liquor store, and an Office Depot in the U.S.
Nyx Post office as well.
honestly Japan’s 7-11 really reminds me of a Dollar General/Family Dollar/Dollar Tree 😭... minus the wine and stuff lmao
We put the convenience in a convenience store😋
You can also get government documents like tax certificates there now.
Atm also where you can pay your bills
Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner is just snacks to Mike chen lol
True i love them both
And now Mike Chen is obese and these guys are still fit and healthy.
When Japan’s 7-Eleven is better than all your local eateries...😒

7 -Elven sucks in the USA. A bottle of water is like $3 each and a slice of pizza is about $1.25.
Mohini Lavin 7-Eleven in the uk is.... oh yea we don’t have one bcz the uk is shit
Why are you buying bottled water anyway? Especially at a 7-11. Tap water usually is good enough depending where you live.
tap water? lol dude
