    I love that you are not promoting cutting the cuticle

    I never did much to my nails while I was working. With all the nail art designs I really want long nails. Your video has dotted all the i's and whys about nail maintainence and growth. Thank you immensely.

    love this video! In Australia, it is actually illegal to cut the cuticles (unless you're a qualified skin penetrator), we only use those nippers for any hang nails. I know you don't like using the e-file for cleaning the cuticle, but how would you clean it if there is a lot of cuticle that needs to be removed? in my case, I would use the diamond bit to remove the cuticle

      It should totally be illegal in the nail profession. And regardless of how much cuticle there is I only use a cuticle pusher and nippers to nip any of the hangnails or dead skin. And a little bit of cuticle remover to soften the cuticle really nicely. Some cuticle needs more work than others but I always remove the exact same way for every client no matter what I’ll be doing more videos on this so definitely stay tuned 😉

    Thank you so much for these tips! I'm sorry if I missed it when you mentioned it, but what cuticle pusher tool and clipper are you using or recommend? Thanks!

      Lisette Gallo Girl I order it from Amazon. And some I’ve gotten at the beauty supply store that’s local. I’m actually going to do a video on them and comparing some basic but good nippers with some high end expensive nippers but I love my Amazon ones they get the job done . (Nghia cuticle nippers Jaw 14)

    Which cuticle remover do you recommend? The ones I see on Amazon say not to keep them on too long but if you apply to all the nails on one hand and slowly work your way through them the last nail would have the remover on for quite a long time.

      The only ones I’ve tried is the one that I use in the shop by CND and the Sally Hansen. I would definitely go for reputable brands look at reviews mini cuticle softeners are acid base and requires residue to be wiped off with water. definitely want to Follow instructions specific to the cuticle remover. I have seen sometimes products will warn against severe skin irritation of left on too long I would generally stay away from labels like that. But there are a lot of options out there and I’ll definitely be reviewing more in the future😉

    How would be the properly way to clean at home that kind of tool to push the cuticles?

    • @TheNaturalNailGuru
      @TheNaturalNailGuru  ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly soap and water is just fine if this is your own personal tool and are not sharing. You can even wipe it with alcohol afterwards to be extra sure it is fully cleaned. But just soap and water will be just fine

      @TheNaturalNailGuru  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can also sterilize soaking it in boiling water for a couple of minutes

    Where in Florida your nail salon? My sister has a condo in coconut creek, we live in NYC and she travels often to Florida to visit her daughter so she usually have her nails done here before she flights out.

      Hi! I am in South Miami. Unfortunately I do have a waitlist so I do not take walk-ins are last-minute appointments definitely working on getting more incredibly talented people in the shop to slowly nails so we can open up our appointment books.

    wheres your cuticle pusher from?

    • @TheNaturalNailGuru
      @TheNaturalNailGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get it on Amazon! All you need is a stainless steel cuticle pusher They are really cheap and they work amazing sometimes I get some that are a little bit doll and it can be frustrating because if it’s a little doll we could be a little struggle to use but for the most part they’re pretty good
