Oh man im 31 and by watching RC irl just make me want to go back in my childhood and "play nice"
Purchased this car around 8 years ago for my nephew at a decent price and remembered how good it was, so wanted to buy one for my grandson ,pity it's now deemed as a collector's item as will definitely not be paying £500 for one
RC is one of my favorite toy in toy story out of everyone!

I remember when i was younger that I had an RC that a wireless controller and that was maybe the same size as the TSC but it was so much fun.It didnt have that 5th wheel either. I admit even though a lot of the toys now are really advanced, they don't sell some of the other classic toys like they used too.

i got that same rc car we love it i bought my at my local thrift store 2 bucks had his remote and was in excellent condition and he works we love it its so much good find good price couldnt believe it

I LOVE THIS RC! I've been playing with it lately and finally replaced the batteries so it goes faster, because I've noticed it was running slow.

I really wish I had the money to get these toys, they look amazing and being a huge Pixar/Toy Story fan it just kills me.

@TheTwisterProduction actually i found him... you have to go on the day target restocks for me it was Tuesday
Thinkway was probably too lazy to make him turn properly so they probably just decided to make him turn like that.

this thing is a tank tho i let my rc do explore mode once and he fell 2 stories down the elevayor shaft and wen i got him he was perfectly fine lmao

I saw this in a charity shop today for £3.50 (I shit-ye not!)
I finished looking around (it was too big to carry) and went to pick it up and it had gone. I feel so humiliated

My son is quite a fan of your reviews and I've had to sit through several of them LOL. You really do cover all the features well and if I were to be looking for another Toy Story toy for him (and I'm sure I will be in the future) I'd check out your reviews just to see what you had to say about them first.

Did you know that Toy Story Playland which is located ONLY in Walt Disney World has a ride called "RC Racer"? The creepiest thing that RC does is go on his own when you press the "Explore" button on his remote control which happens automatically. I'm extremely concerned that this toy may run over pets and small children who get in its way. You told us that he does have good sensors and has trouble with handling turns. Is that right? 👍🏻 if you enjoy collecting toys like JTMitchell87 does in this video.
there is a feature on it called an "off button",you flip the switch and it stops completely,how cool is that?

Same back when I was a kid. It sucks that I never played with him back when I was a little squirt myself.
@BreakingFAT There was no turbo button, it was just Woody putting the speed of RC all the way up, and the red light came on, but to keep the toy affordable, they could only put a normal foward, backward and park type of control on the remote. If they put the whole shabam with turbo and adjustable speed, RC would probably be over $130
Gosh ! I really think that toys in the USA are so much cheaper than in the UK.

They should've put that "Turbo" setting on the remote. It was used when Buzz and Woody were trying to catch up to the moving truck in the 1st movie.

The Toy Story Collection stuff is kinda cool, but there are places where the extent to which they take the electronic gimmicks feels intrusive (Unless you're a customizer and can find him or at least his bits cheap, I'd say forget the TSC Mr. Potato Head and just get the 1995 or 2010 Playskool version). RC would be one such place, what with that steering and all the obnoxious self-driving stuff, and so would Woody and Jessie.
RC cars ARE toys.
@JTMitchell87 Bopeep was a porcelain lamp, which means she was a breakable pot, so it could turn out to be that she was broken, to prove your theory
RC’s beep sound is even heard in Teletubbies on Po’s scooter.

Help I lost the manual and every time I start it it just makes a starting noise and I feel I press the back button it does the beep noise and does the same starting noise
@BreakingFAT I just watched the movie, and I froze it on the scene, there is no button for turbo. there's off and then there is a normal speed and a turbo speed, there isn't even a gear for reverse. There is no button, never was never will be. Eitehr way, for any RC toy to have more than 1 speed going foward would raise the price, trust me, I deal with a lot of RC's :P
@classicrockboy93 I had that too, and it had the little black thing that came up to hold woody. i still have it. it wasnt electric though
Are there different versions, say, like ts1 is kinda basic, ts2 more features, so on and so forth and with ts3 it has the follow mode, it is pretty loaded with features for an rc under 100 dollars. Nowlately I have seen these for 3-4 hundred, is that because of it is a collectors price now or is there an extra special version?
I love RC! I want to get one for my 17th birthday but my family doesn't like online shopping that much lol it sucks

You know there is an RC that can turn like an ordinary RC.
we only saw the packaging for the toys for Prospector, Buzz, and the Bucket o Soldiers.

RC is like a 5 year old or a puppy, he starts going off on his own if you don't play with him
I might get this, strip it apart, rip all the mechanism out and replace it all with a full blown professional Tamiya kit so it is a proper RC car. I'll do the same to the controller and put an LED in the red dot, make a turbo mode, and replace the infra red receiver with a working aerial. Its a big job but I'm so desperate to have a real RC.

Dude, I have one of the original RC's. It's the one that had the mini Buzz and Woody, except mine wasn't wireless...and he stopped working years ago. It really made me sad :( I was also sad he wasn't in Toy Story 3 (at least I didn't see him)

RC is cool toy but one thing is I have problam is the moving eyes it feels like Thinkway is making fun of Bachmann's Thomas the tank engine range for their moving eyes. but all thore I do want him.

i bought this toy. Its a beatiful replica, perfect size, but i was just a little dissapointed by all of the unneccesary features, so i think im gonna return it and get somthin else
