I always told her that I am pretty because she is pretty and she would just laugh not really understanding why I would say that. So this touched me. He forgot where he was going but thankfully he had a phone number and address with him that day so the police who noticed my grandfather were able to help him. They even fed him while waiting for us to come and get him.
My grandfather with Alzheimer once tłok all his documents, dressed himself up and climbed out the window (it was ground floor don't worry) and tried walking home, bc he was staying at my aunt's. In the end he took the wrong turn, and ended up in some ladys house and the police took him back. Seeing how these people reacts makes me happy.
