The problem can be seen in many disciplines. For example, doctors are taught to cure disease by prescribing drugs, rather than learning what is best to do to maintain and even improve health. Universities are mostly funded by the pharmaceutical industry, which couldn't care less about preventive medicine, because it reduces the number of sick people and therefore their profits. The same goes for conventional agriculture, which is under the sway of the chemical industry, which foams at the mouth chemistry and denigrates biology. When we observe nature and learn how it grows healthy plants, we discover that the chemical industry is lying to us, and that we can grow healthy, pollution-free crops with the same, if not better yields. It is what we call regenerative agriculture. However, sadly, we see the chemical industry trying to pervert the term regenerative to their advantage, this is unethical but it is what they are, they only care about their profits not the people's health.
