Hello! We're back with an adventurous trip to Gunma where we ticked off another of Japan's 100 famous mountains and tried canyoning! It was scary, fun and had the heart racing all at the same time 😂 The real question is though - would you try going down the 18m waterfall?
Hi guys really enjoyed this video, I can’t believe Gunma is so lowly ranked, from the videos and content I’ve seen from others and yourselves it looks like a great place to visit especially some of the traditional onsen towns. How many of the ‘100’ mountains have you done so far? I loved the drone shots of the caldera, such an amazing blue colour against all the green. Thank you for sharing this brilliant adventure, it’s great to see the van is working well for you as well. Safe travels and best wishes to you both
Hello! Thanks for always watching! Yeah a lot of the prefectures just north of Tokyo - Gunma, Saitama, Ibaraki and Tochigi - are ranked in the bottom 10. Looks like it's hard to compete with the beauty of places like Hokkaido and Okinawa. We've done 14/100 mountains so far, so still got a lot to go 😅 Hopefully we can tick a few more off this summer! Yes the caldera was a lot prettier than we expected! It was a really lovely area.
Thank you! Oh yeah if you did it by yourself it'd be dangerous but the guides we went with were trained professionals so while it was a little scary, we always felt safe 😊
Ooh Nagano seems like a lovely place to grow up in. We're gonna try and go to the fireworks festival at Lake Suwa in the next few weeks actually! We'll have to try the fruit and veges 😊

Yeah I think you’d like it! Lots of carabiners and ropes 😆

My mom was born in Gunma-ken. But she grew up in Nagano, Suwa area. They have the most amazing fruits and vegetables there. Enjoy
