When I was in Elementary School in Kansas, every Tuesday we could bring a dime or more and buy a stamp for our book, and when we had about $4.50 we could buy a US Savings Bond. I bought several when I was in School. about 1950. You might double check to see how many stamps it took to fill the book and then buy a US Savings Bond.
Lovely! The videos are never too long. I can pause and come back to finish them if needed. Miss Tennessee’s pose looks like she is part of a knife-throwing act. 😂

Thanks. I imagine it will take me years to slowly fill it completely. I tend to enjoy just lovingly working on something to put into it here and there. No rush to finish. That's the beauty of this type of journal for me. Sort of like an art journal.

What cool vintage finds. I love the story behind the yearbook from the women’s college. The description for the one term that stated “not repulsive looking” I think it was…….wow! Still love the history of all the items. Your collages and pieces for your junk journal were awesome! I just received a some of the stamps and dies from your new collection and they are lovely. Not able to play with them just yet but hopefully soon once my finger heals a bit more. Thanks so much! 🥰

You made fantastic art with your antique findings along with your fabulous new collection! But I had to chuckle as you were showing all the “junk” supplies you got, thinking about what my husband would’ve said after bringing it all home from the antique store. Nevertheless, it was very inspiring!

Wow! I never got into the junk journal process (always seemed to be a little too grungy, for my liking). But your bright and cheerful colors are beautiful! I must give this a try! But first, April dashboard in my planner!

Thank you Anne. There's never just one way to do a junk journal and I have to remind myself of this often. If you like color, do color! I hope you eventually give it a try. It's fun and it's one of those projects you can continuously work on and add to.

Thanks so much. Making the actual book is fun and easy. And the filling it up is extra fun, because it just keeps on going. You can add to it continuously (or at least until the journal doesn't close anymore!)

4 great projects Annette! I love them all! Just when I think they look perfect, you add a little something extra which puts it over the top. Great eye for detail! Question: where do you get your shrink paper for use with the mini pancake maker?
Thanks so much Marie. That means a lot! I got all my shrink film on Amazon, but it can be found in many hobby stores and WalMart, etc. Did you happen to catch my video on making shrink charms and embossing with the pancake maker?
