I need a 10 hour loop of this to sleep/cry to. My son (5) and I first heard this song when 8 Bit Big Band covered it and fell in love. We sing it all the time. I plan to get the game for the Switch just to hear it actually in game. Then my friend sent me this and I'm just crying my eyes out at how beautifully this is played. It just makes me think of so many things, and I'm not the best with holding in my emotions, so now I have a wet pillow.

Beautiful! What kind of equipment do you use to record the sound for your videos? The quality of the sound and your playing is amazing!
Thank you so much! I use two Rode NT1-A Condenser mics with one positioned in front of the column of the harp, and one a little off to my left facing the upper strings. The dry/raw signal sounds great too, but a little bit of extra fullness/brightness is brought about through the mixing process.

The original version of “Lonely Rolling Star” is a bit more energetic! I’d recommend checking it out and then listening to this again for comparison. Thank you very much though!

Katamari does have its share of more calm, contemplative songs. In fact Lonely Rolling Star has a companion song called Lonely Rolling No More that is more much in tune to this beautoful harp arrangement!
