Arpeggio Challenge for August on Master The Handpan .com

This is my first submission for an arpeggio challenge** on MasterTheHandpan.com…I finally built up enough nerve to actually post a challenge video there for August! I’m a beginner on an inexpensive handpan (and a Nice handpan in the future one day…). Started mid June 2024🎉

**The Challenge for August:
Create a composition using 2 arpeggios in a specified hand playing order….
To be honest, I had to look up exactly what an arpeggio is! 8 years of band in school and I couldn’t tell you (before I looked it up) what an “arpeggio” is exactly. To my credit, that was Decades ago, LOL😆

I didn’t know the Kurd scale was a hard one for improv (that’s one of the main goals I have with my handpan, to play intuitively for others healing. .. That’s ok, we’ll make it work!
Having said that… Story Time:
I got my handpan from Amazon. I chose the best sounding one (to my ears) after watching many customer video reviews that was also balanced with the most economical pricing.
I’m ecstatic and grateful for my true birthday gift (maybe I’ll tell you about it sometime…)
I’m thinking I really like the sound of the Hijaz scale, somewhere in there. Perhaps one will cross my path when I’m ready for it!
