I was up late, and decided to do something constructive since my mind was not sleepy, lol. This practice is the result. It is my goal to create soothing, relaxing handpan music (with some energizing music here and there…). When I get to the point of creating something longer, I’ll be sure to tag you in it Bobbi! Beautifully done 🌱 There is a teaching spread in certain spiritual circles: when you awake during the night, rather than go back to sleep, meditate, do art, play music, write. It is in this twilight state that our resonance/vibration is purest. This comes from the Taoist teaching of astral projection/lucid dreaming. All this to say, you channeled something magnificent 😁🌱

It’s so much more prettier in my head…one day I will be able to play it like I hear it and I’ll make a 1 hour video like Malte Martin…he’s the first person I ever saw play a handpan and the first time I saw a handpan, 8 months ago (when my son sent me a video of his)… As far as My cat…that was actually the First time he ever did anything like that (in the 2:00 minute version of this video clip😺) Glad I caught it on video! 😆

I really appreciate this compliment from someone who plays as well as you do🛸🎶 I didn’t know the Kurd scale was a hard one for improv (that’s one of the main goals I have with my handpan, to play intuitively for others healing. .. That’s ok, we’ll make it work! Having said that… Story Time: I got my handpan from Amazon. I chose the best sounding one (to my ears) after watching many customer video reviews that was also balanced with the most economical pricing. I’m ecstatic and grateful for my true birthday gift (maybe I’ll tell you about it sometime…) I’m thinking I really like the sound of the Hijaz scale, somewhere in there. Perhaps one will cross my path when I’m ready for it! Appreciate you watching and commenting, thank you! 🌻🌿✨🌹
