When I was learning Meta ads, the tutor said not to put the end date of the campaigns as the platform wants us to spend as much money as possible, so the ads without the end dates tend to have better reach etc. He said we should monitor those ads daily and end them manually instead. Isn’t it the same case with the LI algorithm?

I followed this video exactly how you did it. I set a 3 week campaign with a max spend of $1100 for 2 ads and tailored my audience to 77k people. The estimated CPC was $3-$11 which I thought was fairly reasonable with my budget. Fast forward a week and I've spent about $400 on 16 clicks. The average cost was about $22 per click. How bad does it affect the ad to cap the cost? Out of that 16 clicks I have not gotten a single lead email or call. So far this is a huge waste of my advertising budget.
I think you need 2 types of ads: one for awareness and one for sales.. If you have 16 clicks but no sales/lead, it's probably those people who are just window shopping (which is good, maybe ask them to sign as a member to get a discount in the future?). Get an awareness type of ad campaign is cheaper to do this. For the sales ad, your ads may need to be very specific on the keywords that drive the sales (eg. Limited time offer, only for the first 100 customers, etc). Hope it helps though

There are a number of different platforms. I'd take a look at UpWork and see who is on there. Always test them first and get a small commitment before investing to much and track everything

Personally I would figure out your customer avatar. Find them on LinkedIn, connect, add value (give free lead magnet), build relationship and then close
