Hi Bolt hole biker, just wanted to say just discovered ya channel and really enjoying it, i have a triumph trident 660 at the moment but fancy a ktm 790 duke next so your vids have been a brilliant in-site and convinced me even more to get one. Great channel,Best regards Lee
I didn't know you had a Panigale, I bet that's a sweet ride! How comes you only ever show the husky in your vids? Cheers for the congrats, the party starts now!!!
@@TheBoltHoleBiker it’s great, it’s a 2014 899 that I bought new and I love it. I’ve got an ‘09 R6 as well but because of work commitments over the last few years, I just couldn’t do anything with them so they were put SORN. The Husky and the channel is a way for me to try and remember how to have fun again, and in the Christmas holidays I MOTd both road bikes ready for post lockdown so will be back in to the vids soon. I done a Christmas vid on the Ducati after making it road legal again but didn’t put the right thumbnail up😆. Excellent, if I wasn’t in work I’d have a beer for you.... suppose I can wait for the weekend 😄🍻
I added these at the same time I swapped the pads to Brembo 07BB1990 and quite happy with the brake performance now. I have a set of the HH pads here I might try at some point. I've been thinking of a Brembo 19RCS master cylinder but doubt I will.

Hi Mr bolt hole biker Great channel by the way 💪🏼 Could I ask your advice on the ride height setting on the rear spring I'm 6.3ft weight 85kg I'd like to make the bike slightly taller but not have the preload to hard, any advice would sincerely be appreciated
Great upload, thanks. I'm thinking of adding these discs to my fj1200 if possible. I'm still considering a 790 or speed triple to replace my other 2 bikes next year, just can't decide....
Speed triple is a fast and excellent ped but it's nearly twice the price of the 790. The Duke is not only a super bargain, it's bags of fun, excellent handling and fully loaded. £7500 new.
@@fantastic1965 I'm thinking used triple as I can't afford new. I have ridden a triple and loved it but the lightness of the 790 and the potential to have a new bike is tempting.
I have considered that, but wanted to try brake improvements bit at a time to see how far I needed to go to get them performing right. So I started with the pads, which did make a difference, but not enough on their own, now I have changed the discs to be honest I think I'm okay with the performance now. If I hadn't been then I probably would have considered bleeding them first, just top make sure it wasn't just a set up issue, then braided lines, calipers and master cylinder in that order. All starts adding up fairly quickly though!
