These short BMW FILMS in my option are the best. Especially this one with Madonna. Clive Owen is great as the driver. And Madonna showed her talents as an actress. A ride.
I have a BMW 540i. I too put my coffee between my knees. The cup holders won't hold anything, but then, 20 years ago, cup holders weren't a BMW priority. The V8 six speed was.
Albsolutely Superb. This one is my favorite so far. Clive Owen Tossing Modanna around while driving the Ultimate Driving Machine, BRILLIANT. GGGOOOAAALLL, for Guy Ritche This is unforgettable. THANK YOU
It's because he didn't want to be typecast as the character for the rest of his career. Which I understand; but he would have been the best choice in my opinion.
I totally forgot about these! I remember when BMW handed the DVDs out to people at the LA Autoshow! I think I have mine somewhere. Anyway, this one is my mom and I's favorite!! 😂
LMAO...classic! the bit where they fly through the air and the music changes for a few secs is hilarious...from then on...some of clive owens facial expressions are so funny...! i would LOVE to go for a drive like tha! would be awesome!
I got the keys to a press M5 in 2000, was the most memorable thing I have ever driven. Turn traction control off and you had a rudder under your right foot. I am glad I wasnt paying for fuel or tyres.... So easy to drift and so easy to control.
Its criminal they gave the role to Daniel Craig instead of Clive. Clive would have actually had style and enjoyed the role instead of the constant brooding of Daniel Craig.
Great! 6:33 - A man's head, who pull the car on the right. And the hand of driver, when the door was opened. etc... Where can I find a subtitle? Or somebody write to here?
It isn't hard to drive an E39 BMW M5 like this, they practically beg you to drive them this way. That 180 to curb check to passenger eject might be tricky though reaching for the back door handle @ the right moment & might damage the car.
The BMW film series "The Hire" is a series of eight short films (averaging about ten minutes each) produced for the Internet in 2001 and 2002. A form of branded content, the short films were directed by popular filmmakers from around the globe and starred Clive Owen as "the Driver" while highlighting the performance aspects of various BMW automobiles. "The Transporter" was also based on "The Hire" film series as director & producer Luc Besson has said in interviews. In fact, many of the elements seen in "The Hire" were incorporated into "The Transporter", right down to the BMW automobile.
This video NEVER gets old.
BMWs from this era look million times better than the modern designs. Understated clean lines and symmetry.
loved clive in this!! especially the 'look ma no hands' trick!!
Early selfie-stick camera action! A Decade later, eh? lol
It may be short but I've always thought this was Clive's best role, ever :D
People who can laugh at themselves deserves more respect.
Madonna rocks. Who knew?
I remember getting this DVD from BMW. Watched it over and over.
hahahaha. me too :D
Had it lent it never saw it again right Stephen Rak?
14 years later and I still dream of owning this car
I had a 740 silver like in this video. Trust me the car does everything you see in the video
I would give a fairly vital organ to have an E39 M5. It is the best sports sedan in auto history.
Remember when BMW marketing teams actually employed people with functional brains?
They also made good looking cars
These short BMW FILMS in my option are the best. Especially this one with Madonna. Clive Owen is great as the driver. And Madonna showed her talents as an actress. A ride.
And her sense of humour
It was written and directed by her husband (at the time), Guy Ritchie...it shows
Clive Owen is awesome in this short film, great actor !!!
Don't you know Guy Ritchie looks back on this one and just laughs his ass off every time!
I think he is the only person who can get madonna humiliated like this on camera lol
@@lepetitchat123 I mean she’s in on the joke so I don’t think it qualifies as humiliation.
@@EastSide-qc5oy do you think she would have done this for other directors? Obviously she did this for Guy.
best part is when she puts the coffee between her knees cause the cupholders are broken in every single one of these fucking things
Clearly, your missing the point of these cars...
Truth! 🤣
I have a BMW 540i. I too put my coffee between my knees. The cup holders won't hold anything, but then, 20 years ago, cup holders weren't a BMW priority. The V8 six speed was.
My dad had an E30 M3 and the car does not have a single cup holder.
I love this video watched it a million time and every time it makes me want to buy an M5 such a beautiful piece of machinery
it's better to just dream about the fantasy and have a fat wallet 😊
Albsolutely Superb. This one is my favorite so far. Clive Owen Tossing Modanna around while driving the Ultimate Driving Machine, BRILLIANT.
GGGOOOAAALLL, for Guy Ritche
This is unforgettable. THANK YOU
This is SO brilliant! M's acting is really awesome, haha
Probably becuse she's playing herself.
This is an Icon , BMW M5 , Madonna and a great actor and driver.......
I loved the DVDs I got when I got a BMW back in 2008, lol was perfect...
I loved these...damn why couldn't Clive be Bond.
A dream car after all those years...
Here after Carfection's Catchpole mention. thanks for the laugh!
LMAO...classic!
the bit where they fly through the air and the music changes for a few secs is hilarious...from then on...some of clive owens facial expressions are so funny...!
i would LOVE to go for a drive like tha! would be awesome!

I love how the Driver just has a ಠ_ಠ face through most of the video.
Thanks! I was looking for these videos for a long time.

Madonna was a great sport for doing this!

I got the keys to a press M5 in 2000, was the most memorable thing I have ever driven. Turn traction control off and you had a rudder under your right foot. I am glad I wasnt paying for fuel or tyres.... So easy to drift and so easy to control.
that is actually an amazing idea man !!
I still have the DVD
E39 M5, My favorite BMW EVER.
I'd LOVE to drive my E39 like this, if someone else would pay for what I broke.
BMW rules. On my third one
Clive Owen in his BMW vs Jason Statham in his Audi.
Let the battle begin ........ !
Gotta go with Clive. He was the main inspiration for Jason's character.
Still a classic.
Great! Total fun, and the ending..!! LMAO!
Clive Owen makes some of his funniest facial expressions here.
COFFEE I WANT MY COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always thought these 'shorts' were ClIves audition for the role of 'Bond'. Shame he never got it!
Its criminal they gave the role to Daniel Craig instead of Clive. Clive would have actually had style and enjoyed the role instead of the constant brooding of Daniel Craig.
BMW FILMS COMING BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad I own an E39 M5 :D legendary car
more of this !!! make more !!
Most fun of the bmw films
That O Face he makes kills me every time
My car. My e39 platform M5. Same color and interior. Sadly, I sold it a while back. Damn it was a dream machine.
Am I the only one who thought this seemed more like a psa for why you should wear your seatbelt than about the bmw?
brazilianeyes13
Na it's more of an instruction video on how to get a girl to SHUT THE HELL UP
Yes, there’s a disclaimer at the end too to buckle up.
I got a few inches of air once in a 750 and I had to replace one of the control arms. Just an FYI.

When BMW made cars that were worth buying.
I suddenly want a BMW again.
Grate... !!!
It isn't hard to drive an E39 BMW M5 like this, they practically beg you to drive them this way. That 180 to curb check to passenger eject might be tricky though reaching for the back door handle @ the right moment & might damage the car.
When I saw this movie I never expected to own a bmw
Purgatory on Monday 💃💃🤺
The hire vs the transporter
Madonna, meets the ///M power.
Clive Owen is the driver. And he drives.
Imagine pitching the idea to Madonna, and not using her music….. brave, very brave

I love my ///M5
Can my 530 do this?
Try it, and do let us know how it went before you get arrested.
This is why you should always wear a seatbelt.
came from magnus walker.
