I was sent here by a awesome lady I follow on IG, and Thank GOD! It's awesome to see some awesome tuts featuring models with melanin as that's what I primarily photograph. New sub!
I'm a member of a PS Artistry group with some awesome photographers and artists hailing from all over the world. We are given some beautiful portraits to work with, including some from several South African photographers/artists.. I love doing these as they have so much more color and interest and, well, beauty. I have a problem with the shine areas. Some, like on this image you did, have blown out places of highlight which don't bode well when I start laying on texture and adjustments at different Blend Modes. Could you offer some guidelines for retouching dark skin, please?Thank you for sharing this!!
Hello prince meyson. You simply incredible and I have been following your work for a while. Was really looking forward to edit this picture with u. But light room don't read this format of raw. Pls an u kindly upload camera raw format. Tanks.
He Prince love your video really helps me. Can you maybe make a video how to clone stamp because every time i try it will make the skin looks weird and not better.
Great Job Meyson. I love and follow up on all your videos. A video on how to export for web and instagram is over due. Would be perfect to have it after this video. 50k Subscribers coming soon.
Just recently followed yhur platform and yhur works are amazing... I have one question though. How can one get yhur gold gradient. I've tried many, they don't have the same effect as yhurs. Can yhu drop a link or something. Thanks!
I loveeee your videos. Can you do one where you look over other photographer’s work? Maybe retouch they or talk about the picture itself? Also, can you do one about SHARPNESS! All of your photos are CRISPYYY. Thanks !
Nice vid and work!!! Thank you for sharing RAW for practice!!! Didn't get the point, could I use it on my Instagram, with my retouch, if indicate you as photographer? I'm kind a retouch entusiast but I shoot only on film and I haven't digital camera.
Awesome video! I have a question prince Meyson ? I downloaded the action mines missing the DnB and when I pick lower image with the mixer brush mine acts like the dodge tool it’s not smoothing out? What I’m I doing wrong? Thanks
Great video sir I follow you a whole lot....please I would like to know how I can get my own graphics pen (preedy cheap ones though) I was wandering if you can help me with that sir?
Hi prince, to help with your radius research, I think the radius controls the amount of texture or spots on skin you can remove. Let's say if you use a very low radius for a detailed photo like this, you wouldn't be able to completely remove spots or get rid of them at all and if you use s very hard radius, the skin tends to look unnatural. That's why it's good to find the sweet spot when choosing your radius. This is what I've observed, you can try it and confirm. PS. I love your work. Keep up the good work
Hey Big bro, I am delighted to see you doing amazing works here, am really challenged and I really gotten somethings. but I have a challenge with good Photoshop down here. is it possible to have a photoshop raw file sent to me. I will be so glad.
interesting to see you use the mix brush, never really used that brush. Normally i would select patches and blur them. This seems to do about the same. Why are you using clipped copies of the layers, one for the color and one for the details? Is that so you keep the original, seems like just one extra layer to me.
Thanks as usual for your tutorials, I think I have now watched over half of them and has helped me a lot. I've also downloaded the raw image provided and did my own version of the edit, please have a look and comment. I will post and tag you on Instagram. My go to now is to purchase your SkinTone Luts.
@@PrinceMeyson thanks for the reply bro I'm a new photographer in the Bahamas open a year now and this is my first time trying frequency separation and dodge and burn
Hey Prince Meyson, I have the opposite issue, I’ve tried to follow your “how to get gold skin” and colour grading but my pictures just look dumb. Can I email you my picture and you can work on that?
Prince Meyson If you do the steps manually (freq. seperation) you will see that the high frequency layer is created as kind of a subtraction of the low freq., meaning that every detail that isnt on the low frequency layer will be on high freq layer. So if you blur the low frequency to the point where you can no longer see the skinpores (or other details you want to keep), you can be sure that those will be on the high freq. layer and thus protected/seperated (so you dont destroy them when blending skitones on the low f. etc)
Love your tutorials. Your workflow is the most efficient I've seen and has helped me save lots of time in my work.

You should slightly adjusted the whites in the eye, it looks a bit dull to the bright background. But great tut man, really fast and stunning result

Chomy U oh yes same, check my ig put and let me know what you think of the pics @beautybyamuse2.0
perfect!
You've got a new subscriber👏🏻
AWESOME BRUH!
What lens filter did you use?
None
Prince Meyson I think what I'm trying to ask you is what made the gold effect on her skin.
Could you please do a male model, that is bald with the same skin tone.
You have to set the radius until you just lost the detail you want to keep, so that the frequency is seperated from that layer
Why? Do you know the reason? I tend to go with what works for me though.
Prince Meyson If you do the steps manually (freq. seperation) you will see that the high frequency layer is created as kind of a subtraction of the low freq., meaning that every detail that isnt on the low frequency layer will be on high freq layer. okay thanks prof!
Still waiting for a male model retouch!!!
