『我用溫柔的姿態對應這個紛雜的世界，緩慢且堅定著。』─── 李翡文。
新冠疫情過後，正以為世界得以獲得喘口氣的機會，殊不知當時困於家中的焦躁，卻是整體社會最平靜的時刻。人們還尚未整頓好步伐，隨即傳來的是烏俄戰爭克蘭、通膨危機、全球缺糧、極端氣候等消息，所有相互牽動的眾多全球危機同時併發，前些日子更是捎來日本石川地震的消息......我們驚恐著，所有的惶恐與不安正以一種劇烈加速度的方式吞噬著這個世界，擔心害怕接踵襲來成為每個人的日常現實。
我想女人懷孕的時候是她最性感的時刻，因為在她身體內部的深處，是正準備孕育出一個新生命的到來。李翡文自從有了母親這一個角色之後，身心靈便來到了另一個層次，那是我誤曾領悟卻看見的從容，以及是必須用更穩定且優雅的節奏面對生活的循環。我想李更是江浙粉對生命誕生的喜悅以及對孩子所要給予的溫柔的姿態，以更積極、溫柔的態度去迎接未知--同時以之保持藝術的能動性。
2024年李翡文個展《緩慢地 溫柔著 Gently . Tenderly 》透過這幾年身份的轉變以及在紛雜的是捷中所感知的一切，其中的內在感知所慾的表達和傳遞，是為某種心靈產物的再造，純粹由「受感」（percept）、「情動」（affect）所組構而成的生機世界。李翡文從表面感知之物的彼岸中尋求藝術的真實，透過繪畫齊平種種物體，馴服它們自身的在場性，進而讓人們認識到更大尺度的相互關聯。展現對於自然、宇宙的思考及體悟，讓堆疊於記憶中模糊的存在，凝縮成心靈所涵蓋之不可言說的「感知裡的真實」。
藝術的任務，不僅是讓日常事物中具有普遍性的變得可見，而是將具有普遍性的從日常事物中解放出來。
李翡文透過繪畫表現多種元素的自然。她在創作時將自己的感受放大，置身於幻化的自然之中，專注捕捉每一瞬片刻。作品中線條的流動、霧氣感的肌理、俐落的筆觸及透薄的色塊相互交錯，呈現出沈靜而優雅的和諧頻率，以及生命不斷的循環，描繪出一種純淨、自由、無限和無條件的自由。
。觀看李翡文的作品，挑起了我們最誠摯的感受，好像生命某種存在的實際疆域被刻畫了出來，瞇上雙眼，彷彿只需要一根手指頭便搆得著那些觸動。
「感受、自然、風景、抽象」在《緩慢地 溫柔著 Gently . Tenderly 》中經歷了重新思考。這是藝術家在生命深處挖掘的深邃之境，一種難以言說的狀態，或許緩慢、或許溫柔，透過創作建築起與之對話的彼岸。然而如何造型此般感覺團塊，成為當代抽象心靈風景的體現，是本次展覽特別關注的。這不僅是記憶的堆疊，更是意識的凝縮，一種脫離身體躍升之狀態，同時是視覺感知和藝術信念相互編織的產物。它將一切注意力暫時淡出所見之真實，走進事物平庸且日常的表面之外，並作為某種逃逸純粹此岸生活之方法。

Li Fei-Wen expresses various elements of nature through her paintings. In her creative process, she amplifies her own sensations, immersing herself in the enchanted realm of nature, and meticulously capturing each fleeting moment. The fluidity of lines, the misty textures, the precise strokes, and the interplay of translucent hues in her works create a serene and elegant harmonious frequency, reflecting the continuous cycle of life. Observing Li Fei-Wen's creations evokes sincere emotions, as if a tangible realm of existence is depicted, inviting viewers to close their eyes and imagine touching those sensations with just a fingertip.
The solo exhibition "Gently. Tenderly" by Li Fei-Wen unfolds as an expression and transmission of inner perception, a recreation of a vital world purely constructed by percept and affect. The artist transforms landscapes, prompting a reconsideration and offering a glimpse of the other side. Delving into internal perceptions becomes imperative. Li Fei-Wen seeks the authenticity of art from the other side of surface perceptions, employing painting to level various objects, taming their intrinsic presence, and enabling a comprehension of larger interconnections. This showcases reflections and realizations about nature and the universe, condensing vague memories into a piece of the soul, reflecting the ineffable "truth within perception."
The journey through "Sensations, Nature, Landscape, and Abstraction" in "Gently. Tenderly" involves a profound exploration into the depths of life. It's an indescribable state, perhaps slow, perhaps gentle, constructed through creation to establish a profound dialogue with the other side. The focus of this exhibition lies in creating this conglomerate of sensations, not merely as a stack of memories but as a condensation of consciousness, an ascension beyond the body. It's a fusion of visual perception and artistic belief. Redirecting attention temporarily from the visible truth, it ventures into a life beyond the ordinary and daily surfaces, serving as a method of escapism to a purer existence on the other side.
The mission of art extends beyond making universal aspects visible in everyday things; it involves liberating these universal elements from the confines of daily life.
