@@kathyjohnston3971 Yeah, that's tough. Have you ever tried refrigerator/overnight oatmeal? It's still kind of soft, but has a little more texture than cooked oatmeal. Or maybe a healthy crunchy granola? I know some people really just love eating vegetables for breakfast. It sounds weird if you're not used to it, but I know people who do that and they now crave their veggies in the morning. It might take some getting used to, but I hope you can find something you love!
Not sure if they have an exact measurements, but some other doctors to reference could be Dr. Goldner’s Hyper-nourishment green smoothie and from Drs. Dean & Ayesha Sherzai aka the Brain Docs have a bunch of recipes as well.
Great ideas! I actually have the Sherzai's cookbook, so maybe I could make a video trying some of their recipes. And I've been contemplating doing something about Dr. Goldner's protocols...I'll put those both on my list! Thanks!
Really well done, thank you for making. I really like and respect Dr. Fuhrman and it was so helpful to see his meals made. You make it feel easy and enjoyable.
I'm like you, I think! I blend Dr. Fuhrman, Dr. McDougall, Dr. Goldner, and Dr. Gregor's recommendations. I can't seem to stick to one plan. I'm glad I found you (today!) we seem pretty similar (food wise), except I don't exercise as I should. ☺ I'm a fan of Chef AJ as well.
I hope you like it! I like my oats pretty thick, but if you like it a little soupier, after cooking in the IP you may want to add a little more of whatever plant-based milk you like to your bowl. Thanks for watching!
That's true, but I choose to focus on a more general whole food plant-based lifestyle on this channel rather than a mediterranean diet. Thanks for watching!
Thirst Anecdote was about 1 person who had a diet which must likely have been deficient in nutrients and plants. Compare it with the daily heart-disease deaths for a bit of a perspective check!
Really I just leave it sit for awhile. My smoothie does get foamy when I blend it, but this one had been sitting while I recorded the intro. Usually I eat my oatmeal first anyway, and by the time I'm ready for the smoothie, most the foamy bubbles have gone away, and then I stir it up really well. It is wild how much air gets blended in. One time something came up so I had to put my smoothie in the fridge and a couple hours later the volume in the jar had gone down like an inch!
Hi there! I don't use very many fancy ingredients, and I don't think expensive foods are necessary. Most of what is eat is fairly simple, cheap foods like oats, potatoes, rice, lentils, beans. Probably the most expensive foods are the fresh fruits and veggies, but I also use a lot of frozen fruit and veg because those are much cheaper. If you're in a food dessert it would be much more difficult, and in that scenario I would suggest you just do the best you can with what's available, and you might be able to order many of those dried grains and beans in bulk at low prices online. Otherwise, if you have access to a regular grocery store, Aldi, or Walmart these foods are generally available at very affordable prices. Hope that helps!
Working out will increase your appetite, and if you are regularly working out you may need to eat more in general to adequately fuel your exercise. Everyone's needs will be different, but if you're eating mostly whole plant foods, many people find that their body adjusts and they know how much is the right amount based on their own hunger drive. You may want to try using a food tracking app for a few days to help figure out how much you need to eat.
Hey there, I haven't been able to read his book, but these gbombs, is it OK if it's taken throughout the day in different meals or are we meant to have all the ingredients in one meal?
Absolutely you can eat them throughout the day. There are no specific amounts or anything like that, it is just to help you remember some of the healthiest foods that Dr. Fuhrman recommends trying to get into your diet on a regular basis.
Any Nutritarians watching out there? Comment below. How did I do? What are some of your favorite Nutritarian meals?
I'm one. I usually eat different types of salads.
@@jasontaylor500 Nice! Can't beat a great salad for ease and variety. Yum!
I am trying . Just don’t like mushy things so that leaves out oatmeal’s. Need to come up with another super breakfast idea.

And Dr. Goldner has a book coming out soon!

going to try that oatmeal next week. i hope its good.

Mediterranean Diet. It is a very balanced diet, with an emphasis on vegetables and fruit, whole grains...
That's true, but I choose to focus on a more general whole food plant-based lifestyle on this channel rather than a mediterranean diet. Thanks for watching!
I've heard that it is important to salt food because the stomach needs to be acidic to digest food properly.
Yup. A lady just died because she didn't have enough salt. She was so thirsty she drank an excessive amount of water
Salt would not change acidity

Thanks for sharing! How do you keep your smoothie from being foamy?

Very Good! Much Needed!
Ok...who else is impressed with her Yoga moves? 😱
Thanks!😊 That's after about 20 years of practice 😉
Wow! What do you advise if we can’t afford your standard of culinary ingredients? Some of us don’t have much money ?

I was wondering just how much exercise do you recommend when on the Gbomb diet. Do you have to add foods after a hard work out?

I need salt. I salt everything with garlic salt.
I'd say if it helps you eat more healthy foods, then go for it!
Why dont people do food-combining anymore?
I don't really know about food combining. I never paid attention to it.

@@showmemovegan thanks for the tip!
I'm vegan and that days food would be WAY TOO MUCH FIBER for me 😅🎉
Yeah, I love fiber! I probably eat around 65 to 75 grams of fiber a day. But I worked up to that amount.
