Honestly any sort of poster that comes in an art book/manga that you can rip out of the art book and display I tend to leave in the book. I just feel like I’ll mess it up and ruin the poster. Plus I personally feel like it’s nice to have and artist’s work all in one book instead of just having a book with some missing pages and it being a lot skinnier depending on how many pages you take out. Overall, me personally, I prefer not to rip anything out of an art book if I’m given the option to since I might accidentally ruin the art and I just like having everything related to that book in one place for future reference.

I love when she gets SUPER fan girly, then realizes it, and self owns by saying cringe or laughing or scoffing at herself, I love it! The ones that can openly fan girl like that are the besssttttt x3 I will def continue watching your vids!
i recently got one of Honojiro Towoji’s art books too while at kinokuniya and it really inspired me to get back to drawing again! it also made me want to collect more art books so i definitely plan on finding more i like soon~
Cool haul! I have koyamori's artbook too. Another cute square artbook I have is meyoco's artbook. I find artbooks almost more addicting than figures haha
Omg I also have a crippling addiction to art books lol. My favorite are Yoji Shinkawa art books as he is the illustrator for Kojima. Another thing I like are not really art books but story boards. If you like GHIBLI films their storyboards are amazing! I would not have the heart to tear that poster book T_T

I wouldn’t rip out any posters and keep it as a book but if I knew before hand that I’d want to post some I would buy a duplicate one so I can rip out and one for keeping LOL but yeah rip wallet!! Nice collection of books! ❤️
I rarely buy art books, but I kind of like them. Recently I got one delivered and I was a bit unsure why I ordered it. Then I looked through it and found Marine from Hololive and was so happy to find it. I wonder if I bought it because I knew it was in it, or if I were just super lucky. But it is a bit dangerous when you start throwing money in too many directions. It is already expensive buying a ton of manga, but then you buy figures it gets worse. Then you buy tapestries, even though you have no walls left to hang them. And then you start looking at artbooks. At least I'm not buying acrylics and other small stuff. Still safe on that end.
Loved all of the beautiful art in all those books - it really is so inspiring, I have an itch to draw now 😂 I don't know with the poster book, I'd love to display them and part of me feels like I'd pull them out but then the other part is like you heathen don't destroy the beautiful artbook 😂 great video! ✨

For artbooks, a lot of them I buy off Japanese stores (Amazon Japan, Mandarake, Melonbooks) and use a forwarding service to get them to Oz, play-asia is also good when they do their free international shipping campaigns. As for merch, AmiAmi/Mandarake are a good start, also Yahoo Japan Auctions + proxy

I agree with you. I never tear pages out of art books, It's the same with stickers I literally have a show box full of stickers that I never use lol.

I mostly use kinokuniya, playasia or Amazon Japan (although sometimes you’ll find them on Amazon US too) :)
