  • NOTE 1 In the video, I mentioned the car produces 80bhp. It actually produces 81bhp.
    NOTE 2 The 196 litres boot space with the rear seats up is until the roof. For the boot space until the cargo cover/window line, it is 168 litres.

    We recently bought a 66-plate used C1 puretech flair 82 hp and we have been surprised at just how good it is. Apart from being a 3-door (which we prefer), the car looks identical to the one in the review, it's black with tinted rears. Although it is less refined and more basic than our previous car, it is just the job for whizzing around town and when I say 'whiz' I really mean it. It pulls away from standstill like someone has fired a starting gun, and on the m'way it lopes along in 5th gear without any difficulty. Really impressed!

      How much km does it have now? If you still had. Share your experience. Im about to buy one

      @@vygantaspetrauskas911 It has about 31,000 miles or 50,000 km. It was used when we bought it and it had the usual leaking rear brake light problem. Local garage fixed it (fitted new light and gasket) and also fixed a plastic pipe that was vibrating under the bonnet. Looking at the service history, it has passed all MOT's perfectly.

      @@andyhowlett2231 Thank you for quick answer. I will be buying one with 57k km 1.2 puretech 2016. Should be fine. Read that here are timing belt problems and oil eating problems. But i'm not 100% sure if it is exacly with these c1 1.2 engines

      @@vygantaspetrauskas911 Yes I think it affects these engines as they use the 'cambelt in oil' system. If your car has done 57k km I would have the belt changed and the oil changed as well.

    I have one in red, no problems at all, I found the Peugeot a more feminine design

    • @samward2696
      @samward2696 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agree on that. It’s the backlight/ headlights on the Peugeot that give it a more feminine look

    Since the peugeot 108 was designed just like the C1, is the sound system and speaker quality the same in the 108? I'm surprised how good the speakers seem in the video and I'm hoping to get the 108 by the end of the year.

    • @alexlovesmac
      @alexlovesmac  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ruthful Nonsense I would think so. Personally out of the three (108/C1/Aygo), I'd prefer the 108 in terms of looks, and if given the chance, I'd take a 108 too. If I remember correctly though, I believe you can get a better sound system as an optional item.

      Think the radio is identical. I rented a 108 and then bought a c1. I saw no difference between the two, inside only the seat covers and badging were different.

    Do you prefer the look of this, the 108 or Aygo more? I like the Peugeot most in terms of looks.

      The 108 has the most grown up look, the C1 has the funkiest look, and the Aygo has the sportiest look. I do like my Peugeots, but in this case I would say overall I'd prefer the Aygo.
