Not to mention the 3, yes 3 "marks" that ratugolea took and kicked a goal from each. He didn't control any of them in the air. You expect the umpires to make a bad decision during the course of the game and if you're really unlucky it will cost you a goal but 4 bogus marks leading to 4 goals is a bitter pill to swallow.

Geelong had 6 more marks than west coast and seems like whenever they lose the mark count they lose. However they still manage to win games despite having lower marks

WCE rallied well but they looked SHOOK in that first quarter. Every shot of them after a Cat's goal; they were playing scared.

AFL has serious endemic problems. I could count on my hands and feet the number of times Geelong had both hands around the hips of Eagles players without the ball. Hurn takes a mark exactly the same as Radagolea but only the latter gets a mark. Start of third quarter Gaff gets a kick that travels two and a half squares (25m) but gets called to play on, he then kicks it SHORTER to be cut off by Dalhaus and it's called a fair mark. The umpires have clearly been given a motion to favour the Victorian teams. Don't get me started on Collingwood being given the win over Essendon in the H&A season which bumped Eagles out of top 4 or Richmond being allowed the last 10 games of the season at the MCG. Afl will go the way of Nfl with this anti-competition.
Oh and let's not forget Selwood being allowed to freely bleed for the last half of the game.

Rioli's decision 1 day before game, dodgy holding the ball decisions, deliberate kicks out of bounds from obvious miskicks, non existent Ridiculea mark, off ball blocks missed in important areas...It just seems that the result was pretty fair...
lol go re-watch the game, 9 out of 10 freekicks in a row to WC in the second quarter alone, 25 to 17 in the end. If it wasn't for the horrific officiating the game would have been over by half time. Did you enjoy Sheeds head lock take down tackle on Selwood after the whistle had been blow? How is that not 50, whilst Menegola gets done for "throwing the ball back too hard." Try watching with a little less bias next time, you wouldn't come off as such a soar loser.

Eagles will be back bigger and better next season. Tim Kelly coming to West Coast will boost the midfield enormously.
It's a real shame that Willie Rioli might miss a few years, but it's not crisis time in regards to team personnel. Jarrod Cameron and Jack Petricellue will probably go to another level with another pre-season, same with Liam Ryan.
Eagles have a bunch of young exciting players along with experienced players. They will have a longer preseason and will probably get back the motivation for a premiership.
If people think West Coast aren't good anymore, they're kidding themselves. I actually think they are a good chance to win the 2020 premiership.

Most of their losses this year have been by less than three goals so it's likely to be a very close game next Friday night...Geelong has the best defence in the league remember.
