i dont cast long distance because i fish from boat. I lob it close to target. For me accuracy and comfort are more important., and this rod is great for short distance accuracy. That said, i would not buy it to use from the bank. Too short for that, if you have grass in front of you it will be issue. But if you put a heavy enough lure, i think you can get good distance. Maybe same as a fast action 1.90 rod, because those cast only with the tip. But keep in mind you will need to go up to 3 grams to get that distance.
Hi, Jonghoon, i did not buy it for advantage. I wanted a longer model but i don't use solid tip rods any more. I hate them. This was the longest Tubular tip. If you don't mind the solid tip feel, i recommend going a little longer
I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with you for once.... I absolutely love the pear shaped cork rod butt. It's different and it does it for me. I have a abu Garcia mass beat extreme 6' xul and I love it for panfish and stocker trout. It was the cheapest I found on digitaka. I think I paid 5500 yen at the time. Great content.... Thanks

BTW you have one of the what considered the hardest to find rod brand and model, not that i can afford one just yet, but have you considered getting some more mid-end JDM rods in the $200 range for reviews? I just pulled a trigger on a Xesta Black Star 2nd gen and can't wait to try it out. This would be my 4th JDM rod since my last purchase of another mid-range (if one can call a MADE IN JAPPAN) Ares Blue Porter aj509s.
I want to review $200 rods but they are quite expensive to buy just for a review, and since i have a few nicer rods already, i probably won't use them after that. But i have a few subs who are willing to buy rods and ship them to me for review and then I ship to them, so i will try.
its the same rod, only different tip, so it is a different model. I dont think anyone on youtube makes separate reviews for different models of the same product. But i will give u some tips, since many subscribers bought the solid tip and emailed me feedback. Very sensitive, but action is extra fast instead of extra slow. Big difference.

He had to pack it himself because it was not packed for international shipping and then drive to post office to mail it.. its not as trivial as just purchase it for me and order to be sent here, because they dont mail here
i can tell you how to find it though: change the google search to search in Japan only. You will find a bunch of vendors who have this rod. Problem is none of them ship internationally

Tip is a little stiff. I recommend it for lures over 1 gram. Even over 1.5 gram

That cork knob on the end is the rod butt. Imo it would look kind of stupid without it. Btw I 🤔 think it's a pretty C👀L rod.😎
i know u need rod butt. I just don't like the shape of a cut off pear. Better a cylinder or even a ball. But not a pear : )

Thanks for the look at a premium rod, not sure about the style of the rod butt either. The Shimano complex definitely pairs up nicely with it!
I have an Okuma nomad xpress (1-4 oz) and that butt works great against your hip or belt... Don't have sense in ultra light fishing.
