Such a great actor. For me he was the main protagonist in Jug jug jeeyo and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie because of the way he portrayed his character.
I loveeeeddd him in Ram Lakhan and Lamhe I adored him as Mr. INDIA, I got suprised to see how good he was in Dil Dhadhak Nay Do. He is such a good actor and also human being. Please give him more delicious characters.
The thing I like the most about Film Companion is this conversation covering the personal side of the actor rather than just superficial stuff. This interview is a good example. Keep up the good job
40 years se zyaada iss industry mein as a (mostly) leading man har koi nahi kar sakta. Inpar kirpa hai aur behind his jovial demeanour lies a man who has been absolutely dedicated to his craft all the way.
And in his own words, he enjoys his work. That sounds obvious, but that explains why I've never thought he's ever looked like he's coasted or 'phoned it in' in any project he's been involved in. So glad to see him so spirited after all these years.

I always think, it is so sad that we have reduced our brilliant actors to mere caricatures and these actors also allow themselves to be reduced as such. Anil Kapoor is the best example. He is just so brilliant in acting but we have reduced him to as if he needs that thumbnail tagline that he doesn’t look like Sonam Kapoor’s father.

But, this is 2023, where atleast 3 generations are straddling changes in profession in a social media environment.
The current Gen makes references with respect to the Tech Social we live in.
So, if he is Sonal's Dad, so be it.

@@A0A4ful that ‘sonal’s dad’ remark is not because Sonal is today’s generation fav, it is mentioned as a reflection as to how young he looks. It has been ages since Sonal Kapoor’s last movie was released. But even if that is case, I can only feel disappointed that a brilliant and par excellence actor like AK needs such lousy taglines. I consider him as amongst the world’s best actors. Nobody can do a Rakhwala, Eshwar, and Parinda in one year. And an actor like that needs these labels?

Its an English channel. He also has international audience.
He has poor English skills. He struggles to form proper sentences and cannot express his thoughts in English effectively. As a result, he also has difficulty giving appropriate answers and often uses fillers that are unrelated to the question.
