in the episode where he is with Kyungmin and Jang Hyuk, Jongkook said "I should" get married and Jang Hyuk had the perfect response to it.
If KJK wants to get married just because he "should", it's not a good reason enough. His friends might exaggerate for the show but still no one should nag him for choosing a certain lifestyle over having a gf. I feel sorry for his mother, she wants a daughter in law and a grand child, but in the end, KJK is his own person and it's his life.
To viewers like us, he seems a well-balanced man (though a bit fastidious lol) and he doesn't seem unhappy with his choices so far. He's only questioning them because others keep asking and nagging.

Has everyone forgotten why he obsessively builds his back muscles in the first place, or does literally no one know? He has really bad spine and neck problems that he keeps in check with his muscles, no joke. If he stops weight training it's literally going to be a problem for him, and it's not like this is a chore for him, he's lucky to have a hobby that can keep a health issue in check. The exercising definitely isn't the issue, it's everyone else's attitude towards his exercising that's the issue. Does he have other issues? No doubt he does, the flip side to his perseverance is his stubbornness.
I think they feel he is addicted to exercising. In a sense,they feel he should just be like regular people.
What i mean is that,be like his friends. You can still exercise regularly to keep your body in check,but at the same time,kjk should try dating with someone who has the same philosophy as kjk. There a lot of fitness model out there,yes by no means that these could have fit KJK ideal type.
The least he could have done was try dating & if it don't work out,then that will tell his mom that he is not a match to every lady due to his lifestyle.
During the show that he has been in,we have never seen KJK tried to go on a date.Maybe he did try or maybe he has given up.

One thing KJK has to urgently n seriously consider. The dead weight of the gym equipment is very heavy. Pls check n ascertain with the Building Superintendant and Building Safety Authority that the concrete floor and structure
underneath all the heavy gym equipment in that room can take all the dead loads on to them. This is because all building structures and floors are specifically designed to a specific safe dead load reqmts n safety factors. Otherwise with time, the floor may buckle under constraint heavy loads they didnt dsgned to receive and collapse as a result. SAFETY FIRST. ALL LIVES MATTER. DONT LIVE WITH REGRETS.

Do you know whether he did or didnt? I dont know. Every highrise building especially purpose built building like dwelling flats n apartments has a specific dsgn safety factor loading. Unlike commercial office, shops, etc which have higher deadload safety factor dsgn. Simply put, a highrise apartment home is never design to be a gym but a home.

But may its bcz he has already cleared most of his debt(when people achieve that one prime goal of their life, they will be in delima of what next), may be bcz he has to live away from city. I would marry him... It's his home he's not nagging he has a right to be who he is... Please respect his feelings. Everyone has their own hobbies and things they like to do. Kook Is healthy, happy, honest, frugal, treats his friends and family with so much love (you can tell alot about a person by how they treat their mother) and he is very attractive. Everyone has flaws! I think the other sons (the ones in this episode) are more nagging and complaining than Kook. They are always quick to voice their opinions in every situation, and want everyone to do what they say and what to think. I would love to have a man by my side like Kook.

I, personally, do not see an issue with his love for exercise, even though I don't like exercising myself. His obsession may get in the way though. I think there was a past episode here when he confessed to lying to someone so he could go to the gym instead of hanging out.
The extreme thriftiness is too much. When someone cooks for you, give them as much freedom to use things in your house as an appreciative gesture, not restrict them. And if he's too thrifty with tissues, why don't he stock up with some cloth to wipe spills and stains?
I could see being not so thifty about someone cooking for you IF you have invited them for a meal. Not if they invite themselves and expect to use your things without asking. It's a common decent thing to do. Just ask first or bring whatever you need with you.
I can understand why he lied to someone about going to the gym instead of hanging out with friends if he knew he would get a lot of hassle telling them the truth. Sometimes a person needs space without everyone getting on their case. If those same people just excepted him for who he is he wouldn't have to lie about it to save their feelings.

Don’t know why all the jong kook fangirls can’t see the obvious lol. Variety show or not he’s too stingy/frugal, gym obsessed, and naggy for a relationship rn. I have no idea if he wants kids or not, but he def isn’t flexible for that either. No lady his age is gonna put up with that, and even the most gym obsessed girl is gonna have problems with the other aspect of his personality.
