600K gets you a garage in the outer counties of NYC and a grand a month in property taxes

This really looks like a million-dollar house from the outside. The inside is decent as well.
This house is very deceptive. The outside looks sooo much larger than the inside because it was built very long, however the house lacks width, giving it that majestic appearance from the outside, but once inside it is very cramped.

The “little kitchen” killed it for me. The island is microscopic and the room next to it with the fire place is awkward and small too. Beautiful from the outside but there’s a lot to fix inside for me....

I really love this home. I actually love the separation of the house. This is a home that if you have a designers eye, you could make this a masterpiece!
$600k doesn't even get you two lots in my neighborhood.

There's a lot of wasted space which could have been better used to make the kitchen larger with a bigger island...... Back patio is small for an entertainment area.

I used to sell homes in Texas and people from out of state would sell their homes and come to Texas and buy 2 or 3 homes. Live in one and rent out the others.

Lived in Lubbock TX for 10 years... had a Manson like this for 350k. Moved back to Colorado and spent 600k on something half as grand... could not be happier. The catch to these giant homes is that you have to live in the places they are built.
That's pretty cheap for a home that size, and that nice, even in dallas. There are plenty of homes here in Dallas that are half the size and a million dollars or the same price as the one in the video.

It's beautiful, and even in Austin, I would think this would be much pricier. The fact that this house is the size it is with two fireplaces, multiple upgrades, shutters, etc is really surprising. Gorgeous!

Lovely home. Interesting that there isn’t a half bath on the main for visitors. They shouldn’t use the same facilities as those occupying the guest bedroom.

It's well known that what you pay in New York and California (San Francisco) for rent will get you a nice roomy home in certain Dallas suburbs.

We live out south and we live in a 1.6 million dollar house and this house is almost just as nice as ours just spectacular

Homes are affordable here in Dallas compared to other places but they get you on the property taxes.
You have 2 dinning rooms and 2 living rooms, not needed. What you can do is extend that kitchen and get a floor to roof fridge and cabinets, and have an island right in the middle. it would look better if the counters with marble. Tbh the house is in good shape but to my liking it needs construction done to it.

would love to live here! the only complaint I have is that the living room is kind of small and the first bedroom is kind of small ( despite the fact it has a huge bathroom and massive closet!). I would also build on to this house, if I owned it and make the master bedroom huge!

Now this is my kind of house I like when you walk in the front door formal dining on the left formal living on the right I do not like people walking back into MY! Well this is absolutely incredible the difference !!! I live in Denver Colorado and for 600,000 well actually for more than 600,000 you get a 1200 square foot tiny little piece of s*** home! I kid you not

The house is a little dated on the inside but the outside makes up for it. All I see it needs is a paint job, updated floors, lighting, landscaping and fixtures.
Location matters, not sure where this home is in Dallas but there are parts in Dallas where $600k wouldn't get you this. North Dallas/metroplex area seem to be the more expensive side.. from those out of state thinking these 600k homes are available through out Dallas think again, its probably built outside near the edge of Dallas, meaning a lot of driving
$600k in Toronto won't buy a 30×50 lot. This price is more like Rochester or Buffalo.

This is house is way more than 600k. Maybe 10 years ago, but now this a 1 to 1.2 million house. Could me more depending where in Dallas it's located. The property values have skyrocketed in the past few years since Toyota and many tech companies have moved here.
