I loved Mat Mania. You could send me to the arcade with a couple of dollars and I could play that game all day.

the person who recreated the boxes was hoping to finish them before they were uploaded to the site. there is a thread for those, if you use the search.....they have a link to the google drive, not sure if its active still. Aorin has been posting some good packs, take a look at those. A lot is being worked on and updated atm actually. Hypersync is being worked on and replaced (Hyperbase), not sure if the media will be revamped with it. Avar is starting to re-mint some systems and upload a few packs as well in the near future it looks like. lots going on. if I'm able to post them and share in packs I will eventually.
It seems like Saturday Night Slammasters was cloned and renamed a couple of times.
Where do we find the rom databases.
I'm looking around on the forum but it all seems like its top secret or something.
a few ppl release databases and post them on the forums when MAME is updated. r0man0 usually releases full versions and will start a thread or announce it's release. there is Hyperbase version. Lots os being worked on and updated atm. try the search at the top of the forums and switch to "files" to refine the search. SuperKarma had posted a few decent databases for systems as well recently. A few other users post and upload them as well from time to time. I wish Brolly was still around and released his versions :)
I'm still having problems finding anything on those forums. I don't understand half the jargon and it does seem like a lot of the members are keeping the content to themselves.
Would you be interested in selling the information haha? It seems to be the only way I can get any information about where to find anything for this great set up as I'm on the verge of buying a arcade cabinet and id like to compile my own collection before I do.
Hey August. It is a hobby more than one quick setup solution. A wealth of information is available on the forums if you are a member. Hook in to hypersync and or check the downloads section and ftp. You have to understand it is a hobby for others on the forums as well and not everyone is an active member. Some setup a cab or arcade and step away from the hobby, or come and go. I can a sure you there are many helpful members. A lot of answers to your questions are already posted on the forums. Take your time and setup one system at a time. I wouldn't recommend buying a drive at all. Though it doesn't bother me, for people who decide to do so. welcome to hit me up if you have any setup questions. i'll do my best to answer or point you in the direction.
for a quicker solution with a ton of arcade games, you can always get MAME or Arcade64. Hook into a new set; and just launch and setup from mame with thousands of classic games.
Thanks mate you have been a big help. I actually have found a 16tb drive for sale. It has everything including Wii U stuff and some modern PC games but I'm not so sure I need to buy it if I can find everything myself online.
What I think I need to do first is watch some tutorials on exactly how to set it up and add one system and go from there.
