GMA Middle East Honors McDermott as First Platinum Member of the Used Garnet Return Rewards Program

GMA Middle East recently recognized its longstanding customer and partner, McDermott, as the First Platinum Member of our Used Garnet Return Rewards Program. This milestone celebrated over a decade of partnership in responsible garnet waste disposal, contributing to sustainability efforts in the region.
GMA CEO Grant Cox presented this award to Richard Taylor, Senior Director Fabrication Operations at McDermott. Together, GMA and McDermott have diverted more than 32,000 tons of used garnet from landfills in the UAE over the last 12 years, reducing local waste and minimizing environmental impact.
We look forward to continuing our successful collaboration with McDermott and other industry leaders as we advance garnet recycling and reprocessing, while promoting sustainability and circular economy principles of reuse and recycling.
