This was a beautiful post. My children met then-Senator Obama outside a subway station in Washington DC in late 2006. They ran up to him, he stopped his cell conversation and talked with them. This was a beautiful post. My children met then-Senator Obama outside a subway station in Washington DC in late 2006. They ran up to him, he stopped his cell conversation and talked with them. There was no Secret Service or bodyguards. Just Barack and my son and daughter. Afterward, he thanked me for allowing him to speak with my children. I knew then he was going to become the president

His character candor and well simply put...his espree da core has set the bar of the standard and decorum of what the idea of the American President should represent. His care for all American citizens was a way of life not just a concept of an idea.

I'm crying because he was so approachable and unselfishly ambitious. Just to live to see them in office is monumental, but to relive these moments, your heart longs for for that ebony elitism the world wasn't ready for, but so needed!
