Just wondering, at each of these National Card shows, is there many dealers selling vintage Non-Sports sets and wax (like Star Wars)? I see in your video you mention they have Pokémon. Just wondering how many Non-Sport dealers there are? Also, will the PSA graders at the National grade Non-Sports cards (Star Wars, Marvel, etc)?
@@iamtheprotagonist there will be a few (under 5) vendors who are specifically non sports. There will be non sports at other booths but you will have to ask or seek it out among their thousands of other cards
As a dealer in the Chicagoland area, the National isn’t where you buy stuff to flip. The best day for deals is Sunday, most of these guys have junk, and those who have solid stuff ain’t looking to sell it but show it off. 90% of these dealers won’t make enough to cover their table fees.
Disagree. All the cards with meat left on the bone are bought up day one or two. There are more $1-5-10 boxes at The National than I can get through, and those are where the real money is made. You're right though, tough to make profit when you're buying out of showcases.

RGL, I have known Geoff Holland for many years, had him fly in and set up at a few of the card shows I organized here in Denver. I am not 100% but I think I met you in 2016 or 2017 when I was at the National. It was only a hello how are you quick meet, as Geoff and I were leaving to get Giordano's. I met Tim 10 years ago at Nationals, back when COMC was merely a baby. 😂 Would love to hear your stories of COMC at some day. I think you said something about an NDA, imagine you cannot give all the dirt. But would be cool to get your take on everything. Cheers mate. 🐶
Hey man! Are you with Mike's Stadium Sports Cards in Aurora? We probably met, I went to the National in 2016 & 2017, and am good friends with Geoff. We still talk a bit even though I've been gone from COMC for 2.5 years now. I have no shortage of stories (good, bad, and interesting) to tell about COMC. I'm still under NDA until April 2023, and then I plan to open up a little more and do more COMC related content. Nice Vid. First time show. I’m driving up 14 hours from SC. Staying for the entire 5 days. Disabled Vet and need to stay the 5 days . I have Rookie Lebrons , Lots of Ohtani to include a 1/1 BobZilla of him, Kobe rookies, Shaq, Trout, NBA rookies and some Trevor Lawrence. I’m looking to sell them ALL while there after graded. None of the Graders are sharing their pricing for grading and I’m sure I know why :-) . I have a Unique Advertising thing that’s gonna get attention. O’ Bonus. Didn’t realize this until the day other day. Lallapalooza is the same weekend in Chicago. ThanX for the Vid man.
