I was fortunate enough to get to see this in person... The entire strip was shut down and literally every single casino had messages on their main LED screens saying "GO TRAVIS" from one end of Las Vegas boulevard to the other.. was well over 100 degrees, bike was overheating from the first two jumps, and TP still sent it... By far one of the coolest things i ever got to see in all my years in Vegas

Being a jumper myself, seeing you complete 3 of the most iconic Evel jumps was incredible! what a way to pay homage the guy the started it all.
I like that part about participation trophies. He's got a more nuanced veiwer about it and I've taken what he's said to heart in the past.
One of my favorite trophies wasn't for first it was for second but I earned it more than any other trophy on my wall.

I was there as a kid at Wembley it was an impossibly short run up and he knew he had no chance .I'd aleady seen my hero die once [Jim Clark] and just glad he survived that one .

Because Robbie didn’t do it all in one day, didn’t do it on a heavy V-Twin and this was a proper tribute. Metz back flipped the fountains years before this tribute, are you mad at him as well?
