Bassin D' Arcachon is a bay on the Atlantic Ocean on the southwest coast of France, situated in Pays Buch in the Aquitaine region. It’s located about 45 miles from Bordeaux, and it’s known for its oyster farms, low and high tides, and unique beach destinations. It's also one of the top foodie destinations in France!

If traveling by train from Bordeaux without a car would you stay in Arcachon or La Teste or Gujan- Mestras? (Just for 2 or 3 days) It wil be in fall. Thank you and love your videos!

Thank you for your kind comment!🙏🏽💕 it depends on what type of vacation you want to have. Arcachon is a small city and it has everything, markets, restaurants, shopping, a beautiful waterfront... Gujan-Mestras is very residential and you may need a car to get around. It’s close to the oyster farms and the Dune. La Teste is a beach area so if you want a beach vacation, it’s great. If I go back, I would make Arcachon my base. Hope you have a wonderful time! 🤗
