    I really loved the video....so why should the pan be dry before adding the oil?

    • @beatrizromero1711
      @beatrizromero1711 ปีที่แล้ว

      If there is water in the pan, once you add the oil it will start “spitting “ oil from the pan as the two don’t mix

    Thanks for posting a delicious recipe that does not rely entirely on frying everything in butter and keep adding butter to it as you cook it :-)

    Why is the lemon green?

    • @SheenasKitchen
      @SheenasKitchen  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi 617fever thanks for asking... What country are you in? Lemons tend to vary in size and colour in different regions/countries...
      In kenya our lemons are green and usually medium small in size... Sometimes if a lemon is very juicy or a little ripe it might be a light green-lime colour.
      Occasionaly we might get some big green ones where the skin is a little bumpy though depends on season...
      Our limes on the other hand tend to be really really tiny and lime green in colour...
      Imported lemons on the other hand, tend to be big and what i would call more of a yellow color yellow-lime.
      I hope that helps..😊

    It would have been great to see how much heat you are using for this. Otherwise thanks for the recipe! 👍

    • @SheenasKitchen
      @SheenasKitchen  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Caroline.... Usually I regulate the heat as I cook it is about watching the food and regulating where necessary... As some pans conduct more heat and other less... For something like this I would have started on medium to high to seal the fish.... Then lower the heat to medium low to cook it through...and so as to retain an even browning and avoid it getting burned. Hope that is somewhat helpful.
