- I have a slim lead on big bass going into day 2. I have a feeling my 7lb 8oz bass just isn't going to hold up. Granted, I could be the one to catch a bigger one. I am around some giant bass but getting them to bite is challenging. These bass are really smart.

So I'm guessing Bass Cat isn't as well rounded as Triton? I've only rode in a BC 1 time. Triton 1 time with Terry Scroggins. What's better DC. So we don’t need (20+) 16in graphs to catch fish 😂😂😂😂 what was the setup on this boat I know mention 9inch graph at the bow with active target but what about console. Graphs name and troller motor name as well. Thinking about getting a bass tracker classic for my first boat with a 12in graph at the bow and a 10in at the console (just to start out)

I stayed after each day to meet and greet. If someone takes the time out to try and meet me I make every effort to be available. This was a non points event so it was all or nothing. We have nothing but point events from here on and we are going to some places I live to fish so I am going to try and make it tough on these boys

Yep they were some saggy hatch covers, that and the creaky trolling motor.

BassCat has an extremely loyal following for a reason.
Enjoy the content, definitely disappointing to see you "trashing" a sponsor product of the circuit your fishing. Interesting that you run a triton and throw shade at basscat. I live about 5 miles from both facilities, I know people that work at both and have worked for both. From what I've seen and heard from those who've had experience with both, triton is not at the forefront of product quality. Probly not the best idea to *trash* companies who provide financial support towards a organization that you rely on for income.
Nothing wrong with a Bass Cat boat! “That” boat in particular was pretty used. A lot of things on the boat were not working correctly. Which IS common with any brand after hard use. The league boats go through alot of wear and tear and that goes for all brands.

Cant help but notice how much your deck flexes when move toward the camera sometimes.
Deck isn't flexing. The latches aren't locked down you can see the latch sticking up. When it's not latched the lid is floating on top of the bubble seal so when put your weight on the lid it will compress the bubble seal. If he closed the latch instead it would pull the lid down snug against the seal and wouldn't have the downward movement. Those lids are heavy gauge aluminum, 3/16 or 1/4 with a reinforcement rib on the underside. They won't flex. Those compression latches can be flipped in 180 degrees and the handle will lay flat without locking down the lid. I'd bet the fact that these are mlf boats most of these guys abuse the hell out of them more so than their personal boat. Highly possible that some of the bubble seal is torn off those compartments because of them not using the latch properly.

@@avery349 your entitled that opinion! I'm sure there's alot of folks that'd disagree with you. I don't tend to get into the bashing one brand over another. Seen issues with alot of the big name manufacturers. I live just a short distance from triton, basscat and ranger, know guys that have worked for all 3 of them and hear and see first hand the quality of each. so I'd say I have a pretty good insight on the subject.
The deck is not flexing. It has thick liner gaskets under the lids that are compressing on the lids when walking on them. As Roots said, it's not latch down.

It is but sometimes the indicator on the trolling motor can be laggy
