    My mother told me that she got Malaria from a Mosquito when she was a young adult. When she recovered a Mosquito would not go near her, for some reason.. My mother passed away in 2000 of Pneumonia she was 89 years old. I'm now 77 years old.

    No mention of the Chrysanthemum flower as it contains pyrethrum that keeps mosquitos (and other insects) away.

    Hey check this out when I was in the Boy Scouts the troop leader while we were camping in Cuyamaca and San Diego he told us to eat fresh garlic a couple of cloves circulating through your system when the skeeters land on you they fly away they don’t like garlic. Some of the kids did not eat garlic at night they were slapping their selves silly keeping the skeeters away it works that’s my two cents.🕶

      That much garlic might repel some insects - mosquitos among them, but in high numbers they overcome it anyway, it's said in this very doc.
      I love garlic and spicy food, but mosquitos, when warm enough for them to wake up, never ever have left me be without surrounding.
      Also, if you're not a daily garlic adept, be careful how much you consume at once. It's not just a legume, spice or food. It's literary medicine, affecting your heart rythms and blood pressure. Friend of my mother died right after eating an entire raw garlic for a bet.

    In the Merida jungle I was bitten by many mosquitoes just about every day. It may be the reason for some health complications.

      ​@@kristovapalenkova5884 I grew up in Minnesota where we had lots of mosquitoes. At night, maybe in the high season, trucks would spray DDT . My mom would shut all windows in the house to minimize damage. Eventually, they outlawed DDT.

      I noticed that whenever I was drinking a lot of alcohol mosquitoes would leave me alone. I believe they were repelled by the smell of alcohol coming out of my skin.

    These creatures are so tiny but perilous and kill human gradually. A blood sucker insect and can cause malaria and the worst a dengue which is the high risk recoded death cases brought by mosquitoes.

    When mosquito's are born, are they already carrying diseases or do they have to bite someone who is infected to then be able to spread the disease?
