This episode also recontextualizes the moment between Koko and Inupi in the snow last season where Inupi asks if Koko has forgotten his promise. And we see that even in the future, those two are actually still by each other's side. Very sweet.

Takemisery just needs to sit back and relax a bit. Dude just walts his way into every fight expecting his hits to land without any way of dodging or blocking. Just using that durability again for good use😂. He's better off being a strategist because bro is most def not built for that lifestyle when it comes to fighting a 1v1 😂

That's because Takemisery's entire forte is being an emotional and supportive punching bag that somehow managed to inspire an entire gang by getting his ass beat and the generic troupe concept of "never giving up". The side characters however are far more interesting because we see in the perspective of what their philosophy on reality is, and their characteristics of why they fight is far more interesting than a mentally 26 year old dude who wants to save his girlfriend from middle school. So with that being said, my favorite characters are chifyuu and izana, also loved baji but he died because Takemisery couldn't make use of the situation and just sat there even when everything was laid out for him. Looking forward to the next episodes tho.
Here’s a little fun tidbit. The word “okane” is what money is called in Japanese, therefore “Akane” is a rhyme/pun for what Koko has been obsessed with the entire time, Akane and “okane”.
