For those actually into crafting the stuff themselves, I would say the Blackiron Pendant is a good choice (better than the Myrrh) BUT you will need a lot of alts and a lot of inventory space for it. It's a hassle but with about 400-500k credit from the retainer it's done. The process is slow but can be faster if you put to work 2-3 characters. During the x2 professions event, morale costs are halved so the inventory fills up even faster.
I haven't completed it yet because I have also focused a bit on some MW stuff, but I estimate that with 2 characters, crafting Blackiron Pendant each day will get you all the 5M credit in about 3months. I am currently at 4.1M credit at Lady Bubblegum (lol!). It's just about having the patience, rank 4 for the workshop isn't a quest that has to be rushed.

At level 3 workshop, BLUE artisans can apply. Honey is an alternative to Beeswax when Lady Begum on days she doesn't want Beeswax.

The thing I liked about the old professions system is that you could do it on the side and didn't have to get too involved. I was willing to give the new system a try, but it is so time-consuming and requires so much micro-management that I soon gave it up. Some people might like this sort of thing, but for me it's just a tedious bore.
It was a nice upgrade to the old system.. but yes, it does take more time to manage for sure.

By the way the Workshop Sending Stone its working just fine :)) you just need to be outside the worksop doesnt matter if u are in another zone u can put up orders so ...yeah its awesome

I have no idea if the workshop quest line has changed over the years. The NPC turn in vendor for the faction stuff was in PE.
So the 1st part at Lady Bubblegum, do you sell all items to progress?

Thought getting 95k for my old stuff was good until I got the quest asking me for 500k in commissions(needed to get from lvl 2 shop to lvl 3. Now I think I am done with crafting.
You only need 89k Material Credits to go from Rank 2 to 3. But yea.. you need a ton of credits.
Should I exchange my asset echange credit to Material exchange credit? Ive got a forgehammer and exchanging Asset exchange credit would just verly get me to lvl 4
Just remember You can Turn Asset Into Material Credit. But you Can't Turn Material into Asset. So, make sure you have all the assets you need/want before hand =)
And that lady "bubblegum" I will be referring to her with that name now!
Question? I have the required beeswax, but when I go to fill commissions it dont show the beeswax to turn in.
The turn in vendor is on a rotation. You have to wait for her to have the Beeswax again. Check everyday.

I'm not sure what items were changed in Mod 15 with the Temp Structures. I know all the old stuff was taking out. So, it might be only MC stuff now.

No.. there are a ton of different rotations - You just have to wait. Check the tables

I'm still stuck 😕 I'm trying to level up my workshop from 2 to 3, I've done the "bubblegum" quest, handed into my retainer, what happens now? I've check my quests and there's nothing showing up I'm level 64 hopefully that doesn't matter.
You have to have your gathering at level 50 and one of the crafts (taylor, jewelery, alchemy etc) at a level 50 too. I thought the same thing until I hit level 50 on jewel crafting and the quest popped.
Great tutorial. But was hoping you included very last quest second chances. I have talked to the two people the guy on icewind Dale. But the last part says to find her but I can't seem to find her. And when you go to map . nowhere seems to have second chance quest line. Can you maybe help me out?
I don't recall any Workshop quest taking you to Icewind Dale.
@@Garlaanx There was a bug where you could not find Dalish (sp?) in Caer Konig. He should now be there fishing at the south dock area once you have the Second Chances quest. The other person is easy to find in MoonStone Mask. After those two, you SHOULD be able to convince Karmela to join your workshop. Make sure you know in advance which profession you want to use her for, because you only get one chance to make that choice. However, gathering is NOT something she'll do.
Where I can find exchangeable profession materials in quantity? Like dragon eggs, there's a farming way? For level 4 with 2 Pg crafting for trade to Lady B, it will take from 3 to 4 months depending on active crafting in workshop. I have a bunch of old materials but it's far for relevant for 5M
I dont really understand your question, I'm sorry. You can't farm Dragon Eggs. It's an old asset that will seldom drop from old lockbox's. Not sure if they still drop in Tiamat anymore. The trade in vendor for old assets are in your workshop next to the work bench.
Can't find the information anywhere all I need to know is if there is any benefit to lvling up workshop besides delivery box space?? More artisans right? If those are the only 2 that is so not worth it lol not even rank 3 let alone 4.

You can turn them in at the vendor in the workshop for currency to spend on new matz
i got a blacksmith but i dont have the tools to craft bronze ingot and ive looked everywhere and no one teels me what tool i need

Beeswax was the go to method. Not sure these days. Make sure to do your daily que's. You should be getting 100k AD every single day

thank you very much, I was away from the game for a long time and last night I logged in only to see the profesion system was born again!, also I'm not sure we can transfer Profession items from toon to toon on the same account , I tried but they don't seem to by applicable into the Shared Account Bank.

I have tried to turn the special items for upgrade tp level 2 in and Neverwinter won't let me. Anyone have any idea what is going on this video doesn't cover the problem.
The vendor has a rotation of items. Make sure you are turning in on the day she has the items

Theoretically.. Crafting some items like the +1 armor can yield better results.. but you're talking about months of work most likely. This video was meant to show the fastest/easiest way of getting Rank 4.
But Beeswax and then Myrrh/Black Ink is the best Credit/Time Wise
Just to make sure about something I was an old player, I just recently return to the game, If my profession all of them were at 25, it means that I have the new crafting at the same lvl? Thank you very much
If you had them at max lvl 25. They will be max lvl 70 in the new system

I haven't touched the workshop since mod 16 =) I would assume the same methods still work
I feel they have totally fucked this game and made it more so for you to spend money on for new players
I've got a problem I can't figure out how to solve. I chose Armorer to start (I hadn't seen your video yet), and have done well in that profession, but then received my next set of four artisans and can't train them since I don't have 'worn' tools for them to use. They are level 1, and can only use 'worn' tools. The materials merchant doesn't have any. I don't have a quest to find any. I am not allowed to trade for any (I have to complete multiple quests I've not gotten to yet to do that or enable me to communicate with others). None are offered at the auction house. Some iffy website mentioned a Haberdasher as a possible source, but I've no clue where that person is. I can make tools, but not 'worn' ones.
The professions are Leatherworker, and Alchemy.
Help.
I found the answer........ There is a box of worn tools behind the workbench.

I've exchanged several times to Lady Begum and the quest won't complete. So I think that there is a patch that needs to happen.
I haven't heard anyone having any issues with her yet.

They are on a 3 day cycle with different items. Make sure the vendor has the items you are trying to turn in.

Brand new player...have only had the game cpl. days, so everything is new/first-time...question: I currently have only one character, and I think I can have two max until I start spending $$ (don't have game in front of me so might be remembering incorrectly)...if I start another character will the two then share same workshop, or each has separate shop (ie: is it one workshop per account, or per character)?
In latter part of video when you were upgrading the shop, is there a particular reason you advised using the 'beeswax' for earning the credits? (Nevermind...just found the answer further down in comments -- leaving it here in case anyone else has same question).
And for clarification: when earning the credits through Ms. "Bubblegum", can different items be combined...as long as the total number of required credits is eventually accumulated?
Also, I'm playing on PC, and understand controls and some basics may be slightly different, but for most part is the information in this guide applicable to the PC-version of the game, or should I search-out other guides?
