I'm glad you and the house are okay. Those trees could've easily caused a lot of expensive damage! And wow, what a miracle that guy just wandering over to help, there are some great people in this world.
Thank God for neighbors, for protecting you, and for taking out trees that would have been a potential problem. So thankful you made it safely through the storms.
Be careful during these storms. It's very tempting to keep an eye out, especially when your livelihood is at stake outside, but take care of yourself. Remember it's not *that* the wind is blowing , it's *what* the wind is blowing.
Thank God your home is intact, and you and your wife are safe. I live in the Missouri Ozarks, although I'm a So. California native, and these storms are intense.
Yes praise God! These storms are fun to experience but at the same time they are scary because of the damage they can cause. It's crazy how different the weather east of the rockies is, totally different ball game where we are now!
Glad you’re OK! We are about an hour and a half or so west of you in Hardin County, near Pickwick lake. The storm systems are definitely nerve-wracking!
Thanks for the update. I also live in Tennessee. "Tornado alley" has a different set of natural hazards from California, but it looks like God was watching out for you, in more ways than one.
The Lord is good and watching over you guys :) That neighbor was definitely sent to help you! Love watching your videos and it is so refreshing to hear someone thank the Lord too! So sad to not see that very often online.
So very glad that y’all are okay. I have been so very busy myself cleaning up around our place. I really enjoy the Nature’s Always Right classes; but I’m still not finished with them. Thanks for all you do.
WOW! That was an intense storm!! Here in central NY we don't have to endure tornado/hurricane force winds. I'm so glad that God's Hand of protection was on you and your property! Looking forward to your future announcements, progress on your TN Homestead.
The logger was helpful to you removing down tree's for "free" however he's also getting thousands of dollars in free lumber to do so. My brother gets 500 plus per tree, down or not as long as it's a fresh down
Ya that's true but I've sold logs to the yard before it really depends on the species and quality. For a huge perfect white oak you can get thousands, but these junky red oaks it's not much. He's gonna help me with some other projects with his machine so it should end up a fair trade.
Thankfully you are all okay and the house isn’t damage🙏 You’ll need to check you trees as well for health, wind damage can’t be helped. You’ll have plenty of firewood, he’ll make lots of money too.
Yea polars do fall a lot in wind because they are so so tall the leverage from the top is Immense and that double one had that much more surface for the wind to grab.
you should leave the trees that blew over and uprooted. The whole thing is an amazing part of the ecosystem. They are great for all sorts of insects, birds, bees, snakes and amphibians!
Nah, those trees that fell most aren't sale-able and you have no idea the other jobs I have that he can help me with. He actually hasn't even been back so I may have just gotten free help after all.

Thanks Justin it was a close call!
How awesome that the logger guy reached out and is helping lighten your load of tree removal big time!

Very instructional. Tree management is really important for land management. Ty
Steven, you are so lucky it was only some downed trees and no damage to your house. That was a close call. So glad you guys are safe.
Thanks Darrell, it was a close one for sure.
God is good! Glad you and the misses are okay 🙏🏼
All the time! Thanks bro!

I am so very glad you and yours are all safe and sound. You have such a good attitude about the damage.
Thank you Steven for the advice- good things to know.
We had the southern edge of the storm. No damage here. Glad to hear no one was hurt. Best wishes
Good glad you were out of the danger zone!
Glad you guys are ok!
That's good y'all came through the storm safe. Be safe out there, tornadoes are rough.

Glad to see your home was OK. I'm headed out of SoCal Un July and moving to Tennessee also neighbor.
Crazy man, crazy glad everything was ok. I have big pine trees I need gone. !!!
An 😇 was watching over you & the family . And the logger was another 😇 to help lighten your load.
Stay safe 👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Praise God your home and family are safe. Tornado or not, I’m so happy you are thriving and growing in Tennessee.
Thank you Carol!
Be carful with that root! I have seen them flip back up when trimmed
Glad you survived it. We just had three come through the Tallahassee Florida / Leon County area. Folks got hit really hard.
Ah I'm sorry to hear that, it's awful the destruction these things cause to people's lives.
Thankfully you are all okay and the house isn’t damage🙏

Ah that makes a lot of sense. I've just seen the other 3 species I mentioned dead and fallen a whole lot more.
Nature certainly knew what it was doing.
I'm glad everything is okay. I though you lived in San Diego
Thanks! We moved about 4 years ago to Tennessee.
Glad you guys made it through! What camera system did you switch to??? Just curious. Looks good!
Switched to Sony from Canon. Shooting with the FX-30 now.
Ten trees bless you. 😢
Lots of mushroom logs!
Absolutely!
you should leave the trees that blew over and uprooted. The whole thing is an amazing part of the ecosystem. They are great for all sorts of insects, birds, bees, snakes and amphibians!
They repair soil, retain and soak water, stop fire naturally, along with so many other beautiful amazing ecosystem repair.
Weren't you in San Diego?
I left San Diego 4 years ago. Time flies.
Widowmakers?
Yep.. a few huge branches are caught up in the trees waiting to fall..
Oh...
🙏🏻🙌🏻💙prayers
That logger ripped you off. No way he needed to cut down other trees for payment.
Nah, those trees that fell most aren't sale-able and you have no idea the other jobs I have that he can help me with. He actually hasn't even been back so I may have just gotten free help after all.
Stay strong 💪!!!!
