    Pylons are secondary. G-Man is requesting Primaris Marines. Unless Mars can make Primaris, Cawl's untouchable until the Galaxy reaches 'stability'. The best way to checkmate Cawl is to make him Fabricator General, he knows this. As for Qvo... that's something else.

    • @p_noizesacha
      @p_noizesacha ปีที่แล้ว +10

      That's what I think too, Cawl doesn't want to be the Fabricator General, it would tie him down because that position means also sitting on the Senatorum Imperialis and I don't think any of those leave the sol system.

    • @scratthesquirrel5242
      @scratthesquirrel5242 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      i mean i dont doubt mars CAN make primaris. the tech is pretty widely spread by now, and mars has the tech for regular sm's. whats more chapters pay a tithe of geneseed to the mechanicum. its mostly to check for purity, but im sure they've also got a stockpile of it in case anyone runs out for whatever reason.

    • @RichardStrong86
      @RichardStrong86 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cawl isn't specifically needed to make Primaris marines though. The technology is available independent of Cawl, and other members of the Adeptus Mechanicus can oversee it.

    • @jonharrison9222
      @jonharrison9222 ปีที่แล้ว

      Couldn’t even if he wanted to, forbidden by treaty of Mars.
      Cawl has hundreds of thousands of Primaris in stasis in caches all over the imperium.

  • @male272
    @male272 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Robute just has to make Cawl a citizen of the Empire, have him repatriate from the Mechanicum, then make Cawl his Technological advisor, give him all the resources that the Mech's can provide under the Terms. If the Mechanicum denied Robute, they would be in transgression, regardless of whether they agreed or not with what the Imperium was doing with those resources.

      @@probablythedm1669 But if Grogius (the servo skull) gets found by some miracle, his attempts to give parts of the golden throne with possible DNA of the Emperor on them to dark eldar is discovered, Inquisition will be the least of Mars' problem. Captain General himself will feed him to a recycling bin. Crawl does not know this but somewhere out there is a servo skull which could make him a fabricator general. Letting xeno foul clone the Ommissiah knowingly or not it a heresy on a level that even Cawls experiments cannot match in magnitude. If he was to bring evidence to either the Custodes or Guilliman, would open a lot of door for him.

    I've been saying for years that the admech definitely need a civil war hopefully it happens and GW decide to pump as much cool into the faction as possible during and after. Everything of value gw puts out is for the space marines so more and more of the fan base is just focused on space marines and that will kill 40k in the long term. So a book series focused on the admech would be great

    • @TheTallGuy1992
      @TheTallGuy1992 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Mortarion-xt9wp Truthfully the only way I can see GW going is Crawl getting the W. The lore that GW has made for 40K IoM has written themselves into a corner with it's 'no innovation' rule has forced limits its model and lore for the Imperium and it factions, as issues with the plot holes with STC supposedly becoming harder and harder to find and closely guarded, the making of new models are more often than not excused by saying 'they found a new STC!'... the thing that has become so hard to find and isn't even gaenteed to be militarily important, it seems odd that the Imperium keeps finding the right STC in times of need.
      At least with Crawl becoming the Fabricator General means that we at least have some more verity of reasons on new Imperium tech.

Hell it could be used to cause Skirmishes between the imperium and the Adept lore wise that can easily explain tabletop battles between the two groups want to do that

    Should things really come to a head, the best thing to do, in my opinion is to have the Fabricator-General and Belisarius Cawl be in the presence of the Omnissiah (The Emperor of Mankind) and allow him to arbitrate on whether Cawl has crossed the boundary of 'Tech' orthodoxy, bearing in mind, the Omnissiah had once instructed Cawl to carry on with his work and research even if he thinks it might betray him.

    Haven’t read the book, but just a thought, there might be an element of Guilliman intentionally inspiring Cawl by giving him a tight deadline. Sort of a “oh well. If you don’t think you can do it I understand. Machines can be pretty tricky after all.”
