Silverio in a beard, Kona with a hatch back, Mitch still the same. 😂 It was so good to see Silverio, hope and pray he has a wonderful retirement, he deserves it. Now, we can only wait until the next exciting video releases. It has been an incredible journey thus far. The anticipation of the final episode draws closer. I will miss waiting and watching this incredible build. I think I will bing watch it in it entirety once that final shot is done.
Seeing this shop and its outer storage yard with VW buses everywhere - I now understand why Dennis Collins is hot after VW bugs and buses. The buses are worth huge money restored - and since Collins wheels and deals with Jeeps, Classic Cars and now has the hots for VWs. The expert workmanship here on Mic's 21-window VW bus is going to make it a prized possession on the Hawaiian Islands. Mic's camerawork is right up there with the professionals. Very Impressive.
been following this build since it started, back then my project bug wasnt running and it was in a really bad shape. now i made a tiny bit of progress and finally made it run. your build series made me realized how tiring this is but the amount of happiness you get from it washes away the struggle! love it man 🙌🏻
What a fabulous episode from start to finish. The expertise and attention to detail is great to watch as is your expertly set up camera shots and just really great engrossing flow of interesting content.. The shot from the front gate over rainwater grate towards all those beautiful cars was da bomb. Love your work all of you guy's. Waiting with anticipation for the next episode Mitch.
Hi Mitch. So glad to watch a new epsode. You and the guys are doing a great job. To tell you the truth I will miss when it is all over. Of course I want to see Kona ready and marvelous and I hope after all, you take another project...
Man ... this guys are awesome ! That was a joy to watch how they work and are good friends! I hope they see this! Hola ;-) Greetings from Germany , the VW land ... lol
Every episode is more interesting than the last. Your editing and storytelling gets better with every episode, and I love how you are shooting it - love those cool down-angles! And thank you for subtitling everything. You and your films ROCK, Mitch!
I shook your hand at octo and thanked you for all the inspiration!! I have removed both rockers and replaced them as well as installed new floors!! All because of ur videos !!! I was prob gonna pay to have the work done but now I have a ton of tools ( thanks Eastwood ) and I bought 2 more busses !!!! You are a true inspiration and good spirit - I’ll be seeing you around 🤙
Have a nice day, another sequel, you don't even know how happy I am to see how beautiful this car is under the hands of skilled mechanics for your contribution. It is good that there are such people. The world is then more beautiful. Have a nice day.
I am fascinated by the quality of your work. At this level of competence it is no longer a bodywork job but jewelry, pure goldsmith. Never could an iron ore have expected to receive so much love. And it is a tribute to all the designers of this wonder. You inspire me for my own automotive restoration work. Have a nice day, my friends...
24:03 i sad see him time retire...last years he very wonderful fast do hard work with fast...this time i say goodbye and good luck Silverio...he always give you (mitch) breakfast very best..cheer up mitch hope finish kona then show him glad!Ahola!!
Nice work on the hatch, it takes alot of work to make it look like it was like that was original. It will be easier to service the motor now. After their done you can test fit the roof. Looking forward to the next episode! Peace
Hi Mic, I use the same chisel/scraper Claudio has all. the. time. Essential tool. Get one. They're cheap. You won't be disappointed. Claudio's an amazing metal worker. Pays attention to detail and is very careful. Rare qualities these days. Where do you have room to store all the t-shirts? lol
Another cool video, i have to do the same work soon on my bus. But i will install a baywindow service flap. Awaiting the next episode 😀 Greetings from Berlin Germany.... from #aircult_berlin
Ha I randomly found your comment on the cartoon custom vw bus id been watchin your burgman vids for years small fuckin world hope all is well take care good luck on the awesome project
Hi Mic, I am wondering that you don't do more things at the bus yourself. Sure, they guys do great work, but if they teach you how to weld or prepare a sheet metal, you will learn it very fast. At the moment I am restoring a heavy rusted Baywindow bus from 1977 and learned everything by the scretch. As you can see at my videos, my welds are not bad now. I wish you all the best for your car and your project. Best regards from Germany, Ralph (from Oldtimer-Rescue)
Hey, I would love to learn how to weld but I don’t work in that shop so I am not covered with insurance… too risky… and I want professional to do it right 😆
Mic, have you thought about the color combination yet? What were your colors based on your VIN? I'm getting anxiety just waiting for the next episode 😁
Another great episode, bro! Love the progress. Can’t wait to see Kona all done! Hey, any chance you could tell me where to find one of those VW bugs and buses flag shirts at the very end for myself? I love that design!
Hey dude, you are doing a great job. Are you still working on the van? all I am seeing is just the old ones you got any new ones? I lost track last video I seen you was put in the windows and then rubber seals and I went to bed.

Well shot. It’s one thing to restore a bus, it’s another to make a sexy video of the process 🔥
We hope you like the shirt Mitch! It looks like you'll have great access to the motor with that new hatch installed. Keep up the good work! #VWLife
