Tex Weaver is working under cover to bring in a gang of bank robbers. When he is killed, Tim Ross, a marksman with Doc Shaw's traveling show, takes over. Posing as a Mexican he lays a trap for the gang.

Si Jenks played a townsman drinking the Indian remedy with another townsman (uncredited). He played comic parts but 100% western in any character he portrayed. Great actor.
A similar story was used in a John Wayne movie in which he joined a traveling medicine show in order to catch counterfeiters just across the border in Mexico.
