Saw him in one of his last concerts in Ruidoso. So many fond memories of him and my life in New Mexico and Texas. Enjoyed riding. After a ride stop in had a sip or so listening to the master of Texas swing. The Best.
Home now, No one will ever do His music the way he did. Breathing control that is all most unknown in Country music. A Gentleman, friend, and fellow Marine! Thank you for your service both to this country and to your fans.
As of this minute Ray Price is still with us. True he is supposedly in a coma at home under the care of hospice, but he's a stubborn man, he'll do this his way and he was probably chuckling yesterday when the media had him having died. Last update was this afternoon at 1 pm central time and he was still with us. As he's said before, "Don't Rush Me!"
Oh believe me I had an Al thing going on also. I went to a concert in either late 1971 or 1972 and he held my hand and sang Blue Spanish Eyes to me. There was just something about the guy!! He died in 2009, really bothered me. I have a couple of DVDs of his performances. He just had lots of charisma besides a beautiful voice.!
Aww I love this in the TV series benidom Mel and Madge sing this then you see Mike Janice Michael telle Jacqueline McDonald Troy and Gaven and all them leaving for home as they fly back to the UK very good

я стар, я очень стар, я просто суперстар! He is excellent at any age!
Well I took it hard also. But if we have to go, I'd rather it be quick and not lingering.
Ray under hospice care now. Pray for him....
I prefer the later version
Just my opinion but the second version was better
Im the same with Gene Watson -much prefer his later recordings than n the 70s
Wow.. what, at 82 years old? Amazing.
