About the English Fluency, i'm always hoping that the Leader is the one who speaks, passing the ball to another member is a bit odd in interviews, we seeing the leader always mouth shut with a lost look in the face....Leader must give the example, just my opinion.
Your opinion is valid, ideal scenario would have been that Chaewon answers the questions and let Yunjin translate, but it wouldn't have been very smooth. For difficult questions, or when facing criticism leader should always step up, but sometimes leader also needs to let the best person fit for the role take the limelight. Yunjin is very social, fluent in English and handled it very well, Chaewon stepping up here would have made the conversation awkward.
