I actually like that it tells me which cars changed rarity, idk why but it feels cool to see which of your cars arent where they originally were and feels almost like a legendary status😂
I actually think the tokens system is pretty good. A rebalance is much needed and the tokens means u shouldnt miss out. Ive tried thinking through most scenaries and the system covers pretty much everything. The only downside I AM worried about is what happened to me in 2022... my best cars went up in rarity but then werent good. E.g. the Ford Escort rally was a brilliant ultra, but is rubbish as a 66. Same happened with Cadillac CTS, Subaru Legacy, etc. I dont think itll be as much of an issue this time as my garage is much larger so theres more chance I'll own whatever the new best ones are after rebalance.
I think the token system is pretty comprehensive, but it doesn't take into account the fact it pulls away any strategy you had for upgrading cars. When the 2022 rarity changes happened I had 3 duplicates of most ultra rare off roaders and they all went up to epic but I didn't have enough epic tokens to upgrade them, so my strategy of upgrading off roaders for the first 2 years of playing was cut down pretty quick. Long term it doesn't matter but in the moment it does feel like the thought you put into choosing what to upgrade doesn't count.
Agreed. I'd be surprised if it doesn't sting somewhere. But hopefully you'd have lots of tokens to upgrade the new 'best' ultra rare offroaders. Hope it doesn't mess up your UR collecting too much.
Wave 2 will give you Rare, Super Rare and Ultra Rare tokens. At that point you can upgrade those Uncommons that went up to Rare. I don't think Wave 2 will happen before the new year now though - due to christmas.
Yes. But I believe that tag is just temporary. Plus if you search the it doesn't actually include all the cars. They have missed a couple that moved in the rarity changes out of the tag.
I buy cars and packs for a lot of money and after that they make them useless . Can I get my money back . No. The only sale that can be changed after you buy it. Imagine you buying a new car and one night the garage comes and vjsmhes your car to their new specifics. I think you'd explode , but here we keep on buying their way too expensive packs .I can't believe it myself but I am now considering the buy of that super pack of 250$.I hate myself and still..... I am addicted to this game. TD junkie omg.😅
Rarity changes are good but +10 for the leaf ???? Like seriously Also, why release the changes by waves ? What's the point of keeping cars that are too good/bad for their rarity even longer in the game ? Hutch with their decisions i swear
As usual stupid idea . They make all those spectacular cars and turm them into average cars. The most idiotic change? They took an uncommon race car with performance tyres .Average , not in any way in a wrong spot ,and changed it to a standard super .Absolutely useless and just to piss us off .

maybe. i think it would be nice if they reset after 12 months. I still have a lot of 2022 rarity changed cars that i'd like to fuse way.

80 rq cobra big block is going down from 80 to 76?
No. I edited the card to represent what I was discussing in the video.
@@topdrives-mike Good cause it would seem very op. So u know when the changes are gonna drop? Would be great if it was this century
I think wave 2 will be after new year. i doubt they will want to do it around christmas.
The nissan leaf nismo now pretty useless like how ultra rare lancer move to epic to much became one of worst rq 76 epic in the game
Yep. Its a shame. The Leaf Nismo was a great car. I think its worse than what they have done to the Mighty Boy and Autozam.
Why is it that my stock and almost maxed uncommon cars still get fuse tokens?
Not sure. Are they on the spreadsheet list? Somethings messed up.
@@topdrives-mike how is it supposed to work?
How come there are only fuse tokens for uncommons?
Because they are doing small bits at a time, they've only done commons and uncommons
@BritishPorsche oh ok

@topdrives-mike why are the fuse tokens for uncommon card that are not upgraded?
I just subscribed
Thanks very much
@topdrives-mike your welcome
When is Wave 2 of car rarity changes coming?
I think now it'll be in January.
@@topdrives-mike ok
Actually there has been a tag added to the cars moving rarity in 2024
“Reclassified”
Yes. But I believe that tag is just temporary. Plus if you search the it doesn't actually include all the cars. They have missed a couple that moved in the rarity changes out of the tag.

I did all these arguments last rarity changes. They don't care. Too many people jump up and down wanting rarity changes, so it happens.

Maybe its so they can move the Mighty Boy, Autozam and Nismo back down to Uncommon in Wave 2 !! 🤣
They ruined my leaf nismo and challenger T/A
I know. My three Leaf Nismos have tons of races on them. They've been really useful, but thats the end of that now.
But they stayed in the same rarity
Not sure. Are they on the spreadsheet list? Somethings messed up.

Yep. I'm not a fan of the rarity changes. Most of the time it seems the players lose much more than the game gains from 'balancing'.
