Not really. Maybe in Britian, but in Sweden cruising is usually reserved for 60's and 70's V8 yank cars.

This was the max power era bud, people literally spent thousands modding their cars rather than just buying a dub and putting some rims and air ride on it, it's quite the opposite of rice...
@@Juniper458 how this is a Max Power era ??? these ricers have more weight than performance on their cars have you ever heard of the Mid Night Club Racing team those guys back in the 90s had cars pushing 900hp for racing on the metropolitan expressway highway called the Wangan between Tokyo and Osaka these ricers spent 22K Euros for useless non-performance mods with that money you can probably take any hot hatch from the 80s 90s and tune it properly instead of putting speakers screens and video game consoles If I had those 22K euros I would spent it on Spoon/Mugen parts for my EG6 and use it as a car for Touge racing and Hill climb racing and rallycross for FF cars .

Here in Spain that's called tunear. Buy a cheap car, customize it adding vulgar things and the result is an awful thing only likeable by low class people.

We’re not allowed in the UK any more, popular cruising areas have PSPO’s for anti social driving (basically a prescribed area where you’re not allowed to convoy and can’t be seen to be revving excessively or playing loud music). A lot stems from people driving like idiots though, the one near me was put in due to a 19 year old girl being hit and killed by an idiot after a meet

Where I live cruising the strip actually means driving, not standing in a parking lot
This is the UK and most popular cruising areas are now subject to anti social driving orders which means you can’t convoy or be seen to be revving you engine etc so meets have to be static

i actually like this whole " flexing " thing or as other people call it chilling hanging out .....and the tuner car scene is not a wanabee thing it's just enjoying the fact that you spend your time and money to make your car that's not that expensive into something more of a art form sumn u can enjoy looking at and say hey i did that you know it's cool long live tuners.

I have a 2007 Civic and fyi I’m NOT ricing it. The most common ricers I’ve seen in my neck of the woods are Mitsubishi Eclipses, 1990s Subaru Imprezas, Mazda MX-5s, Honda’s (particularly hatchbacks), and Pontiacs.
