    He said in this video, “in essence he wasn’t living up to the same standard as those he was excommunicating therefore he excommunicated himself.
    This is integrity. And to pull him down publicly for it, and to judge him for honesty says more about the church than it does about him.

      I don't think it's integrity at all. It's honesty but it's not integrity. To basically renounce any and all standards simply because you feel you've been dishonest, extremist, or hypocritical is not integrity, because his alternative was the renunciation of all things rather than honesty in all things. Now, Joshua has no standards at all...by which to have integrity

    Josh says he’s not a Christian, but I believe it’s in the way he has been living as one. I believe he still believes in God, but is in the process of deconstructing how he’s been living it. We need to pray for him, and pray that his marriage can be restored. He’s undergoing a lot of heartache over this and needs our gracious Galatians 6:1 prayers instead of judgement.

    There's a big difference between being a pastor as a calling and a pastor as a job. When those around you don't call you out for the sin you are openly in, you find no difference between Christianity and the world. Far too many "pastors" are in it for he money, fame and power.
    As long as you're making the "Christian" power structure money, you can be a moderate heretic. Stop making them money, you're out of the "club." When B. Moore stops being profitable, she'll be abandoned as well.

    So sad to see the apostasy of Joshua Harris. Although he might have been mistaken in some of his ideas regarding dating and marriage, he's definitely in error now. It is very painful to watch him repudiate his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Divorcing his wife was also a tragedy. Unfortunately, Vancouver will validate his poor choices, as so many of the natives are "liberal" and godless. He should meet with J. I. Packer before he goes on to be with the Lord. Maybe that great man of God could help Josh get back on the right road of life.

    • @tommyday4856
      @tommyday4856 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Skinny Bones Jones No. I agree with you. Some more "liberal" Christians think his earlier book on dating was too strict (about prohibiting dating at all before marriage). I think he was saying that it's best to avoid "dating" simply to gratify the lusts of the flesh. Wait until marriage, and get married earlier, with the advice and consent of parents. I think his book is still a good guide for young, single Christians.
