That's a very good list Al. Thanks. I like them all but prefer the non aventurine dial on the SM. I was thinking that the Proxima would also look stunning on an orange strap. The Seestern GMT is also a stand out watch.

9:01 Ive bought the PD 1778 after you reviewed it. For $ 70 I can safely say you are paying less than $ 1 per head turn, that's how good this watch looks. And it wears very well and the build quality is outstanding. A must-buy if I'm honest!

I got the Berni Rolex 1908 Homage and a Customized DateJust with my daughter's lovely face as the dial from Parnis . My Customized datejust is so beautiful and I am mind blown. I think I have finished my search for the perfect watch and my mission is fulfilled :)

I like that Tandorio Khaki. I purchased a Militado khaki homage (GG-W-113 homage, really) and it's amazing. The main thing I like about it over others is the 36mm size...which I find gives a a retro vibe without being too small at 34mm. Shipping to me in Vancouver, from China only took 10 days or so.

I like this video and love the selection of watches. What would have been helpful would be to display some specs for the watches, particularly case size. But even so, thanks for the effort of putting this list together as I can check the specs on the links provided.

I have the same Thorn and it's a great watch, mine has the PT5000 movement, which is currently running at +3 seconds a day. My only criticism is that the ceramic bezel insert sits slightly above the the top edge of the bezel, leaving it vulnerable to being chipped if knocked against something hard. Hopefully they will fix that as I left the same comment on there website?

I also own this watch. Does the fact that the colour of the bezel, case and bracelet are all slightly different shades of grey bother you? The case is darker than the bracelet and the bezel is darker than the case. Thorn needs to match them up better.
@@sinjinadams2862 My one only has a small difference between the case and the bracelet, but that maybe because the brushing on the bracelet seems to be slightly finer than on the case? I find that with these relatively cheap Chinese watches, it never pays to look too closely; you'll nearly always something that will bother you.

I love the cream enamel dial on the Seestern S446.
But I don't like GMT watches.
If it were offered with an NH35, NH38 or VK31 movement, I'd be waving money at someone

I own the Thorn and have one small complaint. The colour of the titanium watch case, bezel and bracelet are all noticeably different. The watch case is darker than the bracelet and the bezel is darker than the case. It makes for a kind of odd looking watch. If you can get past that though, it's a really nice watch.
This must vary from watch to watch?? The difference on mine is hardly noticeable. I've had other titanium watches where the difference was far more noticeable. Thanks for watching!! 👍👍

What watch is the PD-1778 a homage for? I'm new at the world of watches and i'm not the biggest fan of homage watches but I have no problem when it's an inspiration and not a straight copy.
Right now have the Addisdive AD2030 in mind to buy and wanted a least another one.
It's a homage to the 6007A, it was a limited edition that sold out. PD made several changes to the original design. You forgot to mention the quick adjustment of the bracelet. And the Blue looks a lot better in real life.
Btw. today I saw the "original" of Glashütte original in a shop nearby in Hannover in two versions. One for 17k the other for 27k EUR... Looked quite similar. 🥰

I sometimes wonder about the learning curve of AliExpress brands or lack thereof. Like with the Seestern GS homage and the polished upper lugs, which they are now charging to brushed, why didn't they do that in the first place. Anybody can tell it would look much more refined. What about the dial colour? Instead of creamy white like on thr promotional pictures your copy rather looked milky green to my eye, or maybe that's my screen?
I know what you mean Alex. Multiple versions of watches are quite common from some AliEx brands and Seestern definitely have a track record of this. I don't know why they don't send prototypes to be reviewed, before launching a new watch. The dial colour is cream with a strong hint of yellow, I'd call it "buttercream". In general the aliexpress watch models that are 1-3 yrs old are much better values.

@@Rustamushko We were talking about new watches, rather than used ones. New models, when they're first released tend to attract a premium, compared to models released some time ago.
@@Rustamushko In my experience, used AliExpress watches retain their value well, especially if picked up on a deal in the first place. Many of the watches I buy during sales usually attract 80%+ of their value when I sell them later as used.

Maybe the Toyota is more comfortable and convenient for cross country and the person who bought 5 Toyotas does a lot of cross country road trips. For another person who is single and lives in the city then the one luxury car will be more fitting. It’s all relative.

AliExpress increases their prices just before the sale, so the discount isn't that great.
AliExpress is a marketplace consisting of thousands of different stores. Some of them do get up to "shenanigans" at sale times but not all of them. Thanks for watching 👍
I keep very close track of this and I can say that none of the larger more premium brands do this. You can actually get some very steep discounts during the sales. I have saved incredible amounts of money especially during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
