There comes a clear point in time when its the judiciary enabling young men to continue to live a life of danger to society and of course to themselves, never internalising personal accountability just lurching from one catastrophe to the next. Its got to be stopped.
You are right. It's got to be stopped before we wind up with some rich kid that was never held accountable, ending up as a 78 year old convicted felon and rapist as President. Oh, wait ...
This 17-year-old has ALREADY piled up several alarming charges...and yet his attorney argues that he should walk the streets? Why? So he can cause even more damage to society? I truly hope that this lawyer is JUST doing the best job he can for his client, knowing that the effort will fail. After SEVEN YEARS of him acting like a gangster, it is absolutely clear that he is, plainly and simply, a sociopath and pure evil. That lawyer must have used all his acting ability to NOT breathe a sigh of relief...at least I hope so.
The reason he keeps getting more and more serious charges is obvious, the Courts have failed the citizens. Period, end of story. Probation after probation after probation, with viilation after violation.
Remember, this is a 17-year-old kid. Yes, he has made many bad choices after many attempts to help him out by giving him probation, etc. He's still a kid. We need to fix society so that there are better choices for people who are underprivileged. That is the only way to stop this behavior and to make our society safer for all.
Note to the poorly educated defense lawyer: "did" is a one-syllable word pronounced "did": it is not a two-syllable word pronounced "dee-id". The same applies to the word "is", which is pronounced "is" - not "eee-is". And it is "ask" - not "ax". You would not want anybody to think you are a hill-billy, would you?
Thank you, Judge.
Now, one more thing -
THROW AWAY THE KEY !!!
I am happy to see that atleast this judge seen that PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN GIVING HIM AN EASY PATH TO POST HIS BOND......
He is a NASTY piece of work.
He'll be back - you can guarantee that.
And did I understand correctly? The defence counsel wanted a PR bond, knowing of his client's convictions? Good thing Judge West stopped that.
Doesn't hurt to ask.
He knew it won't work.
It’s his job to work for his client, the prosecutor works for us.
Sad to see a young dude gone so bad. He belongs in a dark deep hole for a long time.

“You are what’s making our county such a scary place to live”. Good job judge.
republicans too
Hate to be his lawyer
Unfortunately he won’t change his behavior and continue to go through court system and eventually end up in prison
Hey, or he could become President.....
Call out the other judges that kept giving him probation.
that there is a career criminal....
Scary, indeed.
The judge is not getting worked she is doing her job.
Way to go judge!

It's his job to advocate for his clent.
I suspect he knows it isn't going to work.

His mom (probably): "But he's an ANGEL! He sings in our church CHOIR! He takes care of his GRANDMOTHER! He starts a new job TOMORROW!"
His Mom’s Deepest Regret..
"He's a good boy, wants to cure cancer." - mom
Not in prison. UNDER the prison!
Forget ankle monitors. What we need are the collars seen in Total Recall. Violate your bond again, and the collar explodes.
Sounds like the little thug needs to stay in jail…
Lock him up.
How do defence lawyers live with themselves?
Hey have a job to do and are professionals.
Ask your lawyer that when you get accused of an offense.
I really like this judge! She doesn’t play around.
At what point does the legal system decide that people like him are just not fit to be members of society?
Never. The bleeding hearts will never take that next step in logic. And that's why the golden age is over.
Is that lawyer paid by the word?
More joy from the dystopian urban culture of ignorance, insolence, arrogance, and violence.
He waistin our oxegen
