Kinda strange that a pyromancer is having to eat raw meat; you'd think cooking would be one of the early lessons in fire-magic school as you learn to control the element of fire.
If only people stopped bitching about the tokens, (which I actually like, as it shows more detail then the weird figures in sl1) and checked the game out, the game would get the recognition it deserves.
@@bboi1489 I like the figures a lot more, but the tokens aren't a deal breaker for me because they are well drawn and much more detailed than the figures. I feel like either way, you need to use your imagination when you play this game or Soulash 1 to imagine what your character looks like in his gear and how his epic battles would look like by reading the battle log, which is both a good and a bad thing at the same time. Making art of your character helps a lot too.
A while ago I came across a book called "The Dark Lord's Handbook" and ever since I wished for an open world game where you can rise to power as a villain. Seeing this game I really hope that in the finished game you will be able to become a true dark lord. I'll keep a close eye on your videos to figure out how developed is the current version of the game.
The nice part about this game is that it will be a vessel for villain gameplay and your standard hero's story. I'm looking forward to showcase the current state of the game for you o/
@@n3tw0rk_n3k0True, but the gameplay is limited to survival and combat. The sequel will give us more resources to create our own faction. I would also love to see ways for us the influence the world covertly, using magic, agents or monsters to strike from the inside.
Aw, but Qud is so charming! This game is great, though. Much preferred over 3d soulslike genre. And it has one of the most interesting crafting systems I've seen in a game.
I pretty much expect that to become a thing. The family system is already heavily integrated into the game so it seems just as the logical next step to me.

In a game where time is an opponent, elf seems like the best bet.
I think green hair perfectly fit a bitter character who just wants to watch the world burn.
Glad to see other people covering this, I have high hopes for it and it needs the love!!
